Hi <Ducks barbell thrown by Tybalt> everyone, I've <Narrowly avoids an unidentified flying phone book> been looking over (my shoulder) those responses I got on 'How to plan a good fic' <Ducks at the mention of the thread - gets hit by a hot iron (thrown by Tybalt)> Owe, but anyway, thanks for all the responses - I've decided that CCWD part two *wont* be in short chapter format and I'm gonna do some basic outlines (above my normal) to get the plot smooth. I've recently had some inspiration and my number of subplots/planned conflicts doubled in the last hour so I promise not to disappoint you all after this big long thread.
I also did something really *really* evil: I started the re-write of A Demon's Delight before I started chapter 3 of CCWD and it is coming out, well, *different*. It's a *lot* more detailed (The first page in the original is now about 4 pages...) and I'm adding stuff into it as I go. For those of you who actually read A Demon's Delight last year - This one will be written with a totally different approach, and I've already begun to change some plot elements... If you thought it was worth bothering with then I think the rewrite will be well worth your time (Note: This is the first time I have ever recommended my own fanfics)
Well anywayz, chapter one of A Demon's Delight, Take Two will be hitting an FFML near you in a few days. In the meantime, here's a little teaser from an epic battle... The Pancake Wars...
"*WHEN* *I* *COOK* *SOMETHING* *IT* *DOES* *NOT* *EAT* ***ME***!!!!" The *IT* exploded outward, and a very pissed-off-looking Akane emerged and peeled it off of the other wall, "Mutant pancake or not, badly cooked or not, city killing virus or not, YOU ARE STILL JUST A PANCAKE!" She grasped the pulsating blob and pulled it into the back yard, "Now, DIE!"
-cut a few scenes-
"DIE DIE DIE!!!" Akane, mallet pounding like Thor's Hammer, screamed at the now not-so-big pancake.
How did this pancake come into existence? Why did it try to eat Akane? Does she still make Ranma eat it? Find out soon when A Demon's Delight, Take Two hits the FFML near you! (Oh god I feel ridiculous for actually sending this message out, but oh well!)
