Actually, there's a small problem with that... he didn't wish
for Belldandy as a fiancee, just to have a fiancee who was that
understanding.

Can you think of one person in the Ranma-verse as understanding as
Belldandy? Well..OK, there's Kasumi <smacks himself upside the head for
repeating the Belldandy/Kasumi parallel> and Akari, but she's got the hots
for Ryouga.

Well, it seems like it would be less troublesome for the wish
to change one (or more) of Ranma's -current- fiancees. That way:

1. Ranma gets his wish.
2. Ranma doesn't get yet another fiancee. This is far better for
him. ^_^ It's also better for all four of the girls.
3. Following 2., Belldandy doesn't get stuck with Ranma. This is
better for her and Keiichi, and has the advantage of not violating
K1's prior wish. (Unless Belldandy and Keiichi never met in this
   continuum, I suppose...)

In fact, the -best- way to grant the wish would be to give
understanding to Akane, because:

4. Ranma wouldn't have to leave the girl he loved, and vice versa.

I just can't see Belldandy granting the wish in such a
literal, cruel fashion without -some- explanation. It's obvious that
she has at least a little control over how it's granted, after all...
