Ahh, good ole' BGC... The first *real* anime I ever saw, and still my favorite.  I hadn't read any
BGC fanfiction lately, but when I saw the name Jeanne Hedge stamped on the from field of a BGC
fanfic I knew it was going worth my reading time.  I went to the fridge and returned to my cluttered
desk with an ice cold root beer, and prepared to enjoy myself.

But what's this? Ahh, Andy Skuse worked on this one too?  Can't argue with that either.  Okay, time
to read on.

I really enjoyed Into The Shadows.  It was really 'artful', bordering on abstract at some points,
and that gave the story a feeling of atmosphere that worked out better than I would have expected of
lesser authors.  I looked through your list of pre-readers, and although I have not read fiction by
everyone who pre-read, from the people I am familiar with you had an all-star team assembled. 
Thanks for writing Into the Shadows, you two, you did a great job.  The alternating first-person
perspective was totally new to me, but it only took a few seconds to get used to, and you made clear
who "I" was very quickly after shifting perspectives.  I liked it.

I've managed to set myself on a weird little quest of becoming one of the best fanfic authors
around.  It's a good thing there are people out there to let me know I've got a way to go.  Good BGC
fanfiction is no accident.

Great fic.
