Hmm, doesn't this sound a bit like making money off of
fanfiction?  I'm not going to lecture anyone on the ethics
of writing fanfiction but I don't think this competition
is in the right spirit so long as there are prizes involved.

<snort>  Have you been to their web site?  I just got back from it.  I
wouldn't *want* a $100 of merchandise I could purchase there.  <blech>
