Hmm, doesn't this sound a bit like making money off of fanfiction?  I'm not
going to lecture anyone on the ethics of writing fanfiction but I don't think
this competition is in the right spirit so long as there are prizes involved. 
I'm not going to attempt to defend my position if this starts a thread on the
FFML, but think twice before you submit to these people.
