I should stop typing things because I always end up appologizing.
Now the reason I asked this is that there are very few people who have
Hitomi's snail mail address. The only two that I know of for sure are
Chris Hill, who I happen to know, and Darren Ginter, the publisher of
Canoe Happy Tales. We happen to have a problem at our end trying to get
in contact with Hitomi, especially since those two refuse to give it to
the rest of us.
Now as for that stuff, I got a copy of what was sent by another person,
and I have to disagree with it. I know Chris, I have met Hitomi, and I
heard her speak at a place called Coffee Island. She supported a group
of writers here in the city. Those two are as different as apples and
oranges.
I contacted Nicolas Lieftaker when I saw what he wrote on his fiction
when I was doing reviews of what was on the net. I told him what we
know and got in trouble with Chris for bringing up the subject with her.
Now the reason I was wondering is that we have to wait for a ten day
turn around whenever something is sent to Hitomi for a reply. Nicholas
seems to be able to get more things that we do, and we are printing her
works on a non-profit basis. The last item we recieved was yesterday
from Japan and it was an introduction that we had asked her to write
over a month and a half ago.
I appologize for typing what I did, but I have made a study of Hitomi's
writings, and it seemed different to me.
Besides, Chris couldn't have written it. She is always rushing from one
of Three Dynelex offices downtown, a place in the subburbs or five or
six other businesses that ask her to go there for meetings. And Chris
is also a terrible fiction writer. She's good with adapting business
papers, but that is about it.
