Overall, this was quite good. I only had one problem.

Since the action was taking place on a base (not a ship) I don't think they'd
use the word "sickbay".

Depends on the service, I have heard (and used) Dispensary and Sickbay
aboard Navy and Marine bases. I don't know what the other services use.

In response to another post, Yes there are smaller facilities aboard base,
depending what is needed. For example Camp Pendleton (where I spent a lot
of time) has a Clinic area for each of its "Camps" and each battalion sized
unit also has it's own BAS (Battalion Aid Station) plus there is Naval
Hospital Camp Pendleton. I have served at a a Branch Hospital (US Naval
Home, its medical area may have changed it's designation), A Naval Hospital
(US NavHosp Guam), Several BAS, and been stationed at a location that only
had a Branch Clinic (At NAS Dallas). My next to the last service station
had Both a Naval Hospital (Naval Hospital Orlando) and a Recruit Dispensary.
What facilities there are will depend on the Base's mission, size and number
of personell assigned.
