Well, on CBS shameful showing of the Olympics, they mentioned in Japan (and
showed actual footage) that it was custom for the women to send their men
valentines........

-Please don't be their.- He hoped to not wake up to see Ryoko's face hovering
a mere millimeter above his lips. He opened his eyes preparing for the worst,
-Nothing?- Tenchi groaned as he saw the day's date on his wall calender. -I
hope that the house survives today.- He could almost imagine Ayeka and Ryoko
fighting over him. "I'm not an object," he mumbled readying himself for
school. -Then why am I getting treaded over in my own house.- He shook the
idea from his mind.

In few moments, he exited his room and headed for breakfast. He braced
himself first. -Quick meal, then bolt for school. Return, fix house. Yell
at Ayeka and Ryoko, do homework, go to bed. Repeat...-

"Good morning," Sasami greeted.
"Tenchi!" Ayeka said cheerily. Ryoko scowled at her then countered with a
suggestive wink and wave.

Suddenly, feeling warm, he sat down and hurried though his meal. -Come
on...get it over with...- Nothing. A few moments later, Kiyone and Mioshi
entered taking their accustom place at the table. -Of course,
Mioshi...somethings going to go wrong now...- Nothing.

"Umm...where's Washuu?" He asked cautionously.

A shared line of thought flashed through the girl's minds. 'Why would he want
to know about Washuu unless...'

"I think she mentioned something about improving the TV when we watch the
Olympics again tonight," Ayeka answered.

Tenchi breathed a sigh of relief. Quickly, he hurried off to school.

"He didn't even say anything!!!" Mioshi whined. "We didn't fight at all!!!"

[Later that evening]

Tenchi shouted as the competitors raced for the gold. He always loved the
Olympic games. -A few more minutes...almost made it a whole day with no
destruction...-

"Washuu, this is a great set up!!" Ryoko shouted feeling every bump of the
mogel competition, as Ayeka glided through the ice rink.

Yosho nodded, "3D surround TV, very impressive. Tenchi...you do have
school..."
-YES!!!! A whole day!!!-

Tenchi nodded and hurried to bed. Mioshi yawned knocking her drink over onto
the TV. A flury of sparks showered the room. The screen wavered and brought
up the image of a balding caucasion man.

"...Valentines day ***crackle**** women give*****gifts."

"What's this Valentines day thing?" Kiyone wondered. Washuu pulled a large
cultural database book from nowhere.

"Let's see....A holiday celebrated where one...shows gives gifts to show their
love to their lover...

Tenchi looked up at his darkened ceiling. -A flawless day- Loud shouts
erupted from downstairs. Reflexively, he dived under his bed. The house
exploded five minutes later.
