I have had this idea for a while know, but don't entirly know how to go
about it.

So, I place this idea to the FFML to do with what they want.
Though if no one pics it up I might do it myself.
This idea comes partially from the fic TWILIGHT EXISTENCE by Scott K.
Jamson.

This is an Alternate history fic.

This starts pre-manga.  (Before the curse.)  Genma has gotten his hands
on another training manual.  The training 'fails' and the side effects
are bad.  The manual described a method in which a person could banish a
fraction of their personality.  This was sopposed to be used to cure
someone of a nerouses, like claustrophobia.  Genma uses it to insure the
'man amoung men' promise.  With it he tries to banish the female
componets from Ranma's personality.  However, instead of being banished
Ranma's female side reforms into a seprate personality.  Ranma is scared
of this second mind in his and neglects to tell his father, for fear he
will try to do it again, and result in another Neko-ken like problem.

Over the years between the formation of 'Ranko' and Jyuusenkyo Ranma and
'Ranko' come to many agreements about their shared body and coexist at
lest partially (though they still argue a lot).  Then Jyuusenkyo happens
and Genma takes Ranma back to the Tendo Dojo.

The fight with Shampoo is different though.  'Ranko' is smart enough to
ask for the consicinses of beating Shampoo and forces Ranma into losing
to Shampoo.  Genma is insulted and tries to get Ranma to fight again but
'Ranko' refuses, Genma returns to his male form and tries to get Ranma
to fight again, 'Ranko' once again refuses Genma and Ranma tells Genma
to fight again if he wants to win so much.

Ranma arrives several weeks later at the Tendo Dojo, male and alone.
Ranma is initially attracted to Akane, but 'Ranko' hates her.  The
Tendo's know neither abotu 'Ranko' or the curse so when they enconter
the curse 'Ranko' becomes Ranko, Ranma's sister.

This is just some crazy idea I came up with sometime ago.

PS Can someone tell me where I can get the previous parts of An
Alternate History of Ranma 1/2?  The RAAC archive hasen't been updated
since March of last year.
