Actually that was the impression I got pretty much after Ryouga's death
was
revealed. The later revelations of Ranma leaving a path of crippled and
maimed people in the wake of wherever he went pretty much cinched it for
me. Then the icing on the cake was the treatment of Nabiki and his little
statement about wanting to kill her after she poked his breasts the first
time they met. He's totally out of control and will basically destroy
anything that dares get in his way, (or anger him, or look cross eyed at
him, etc...etc.) Redeeming himself from evrything he's done would be next
 to impossible.

Agree. I keep thinking of Old Yeller everytime I see Ranma in this. As
warped as he is, it would probably be little more than a mercy killing
that
ultimately, he may want deep down inside.

Agree. Barring some really bizarre explanation, I can't see Ranma being
redeemed. He's done so much to so many that I can't see anything balancing
the scales or allowing forgiveness. Whatever happened in his past, he is
the way he is now, and some degree of responsibilty is going to have to
come from his actions. (Starting with bumping off Genma. It's all his
 fault, as usual ^_^)

I think personnally in the case of Ryoga we have to consider that
Ryoga try to Kill Ranma (The kind of weapon was deadly and nearly
kill Ranma) than in the fear of is own dead Ranma has react with
the same deadly manner. In that case I dont see anything to
critique. In the case of Shampoo, it has go overboard. (I hate Amazon,
they has too fear of losing then when a better fighter come and know
the consequence to beat any of them, they run not of fear but of
mariage... Very cleaver!!!)

Ranma is sure not an angel, but he want the peace and if others dont
give
him that they will just have to face the consequence.

In the case of Nabiki in part 9, I dont think an attemp to murder
dont have to go unpunish. The only murderer in cold blood is
Nabiki here after all and the hibiki's sister, but here we have an
obsess maniak and we dont have any proof of Ranma involvement
in Nabiki's 'accident' yet as many think also...

And with the maim's people, if they attack with deadly manner, I dont
see
the point to critique. This Ranma react eye for eye. Where has he
react
deadly when other dont have start it...

it's my thinking on the subjet.

I like very much Akane's personification.
Ranma's is to dark for my linking but it very good in that darkness...
