Mmmmm.  I'd say she always had a full soul, all her own -- it just needed
a jumpstart from Makoto.  But that's just my opinion... Your version is
certainly more poetic and ties the two of them together that much more
closely...

Heh.. I see her as basically a tabula rasa when Jinnai awakened her, it
was only her contact with Makoto that gave her the knowledge of right
and wrong and so on..

Ah, but the potential for that knowledge means she must have had a soul.
After all, by Christian theology, Adam and Eve had souls before they ate
of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil...

Yeah, they are a bit more... flamboyant... than she is...

Next bit, got to give her more screen time.

Especially something between her and Ifurita... I can see Bell as becoming
a moderating influence on 'Frita, perhaps with some of her serenity
rubbing off... although getting Ifurita to the point where she's in frilly
aprons and singing to her cake batter is probably farther than we want to
go... <grin>
