In Mara strikes back,  one of the aftermath stories to Terible master Urd,
there is the appearence of a third class 'god' (an earth spirit, who lives
in Megumi's apartment, disguising himself as a rat. this is actually a
reapearence, and I don't have his first appearence..)
His markings superficially resemble urds: an inverted triangle on the
forehead, and cheek marks - but his cheek marks are larger and have two
'slivers' cut out of them - or else they're broken - giving him double marks
on the cheeks (though this may be because he is an 'earth spirit' and
neither a god nor a demon - demons have two marks on the forehead and two on
each cheek, while goddess marks are single..)
Generally:  The higher the level of the god, the smaller (and slimer) the
marks - Bel's is just a long, thin streak, while Urd has a wide based
inverted triangle, and Skuld (a trainee class and the one with the least
shere power)  has an 'egg' shaped oval, narow end up - her mark could
swallow both her sisters.  This could mean that the marks represent the
limits of/placed on their powers (or not, I'm not a total expert.)  I note
that Bel's mark changed when her power was unsealed - becoming two triangles
bracketing(over/under) a central dot between them.

	Actually in Trials of Morisato 1, it's revealed that the Forehead 
symbols are actually marks of the god's "Jurisdiction."  Beldandy's was the 
mark of the present, Urd was the past, Skuld was the future.  Of course the 
only curent signs of Peiurth was the one cover she graced, but she's another 
1st class godess and her marking is shaped like a square balancing on it's 
corner.  Anyone know what she's the godess of?

A first class (like Mara and Bell) has a elongated 'diamond' shape as a
forhead mark - demons have two, gods and godesses have one.
Second class have an inverted triangle, for holy spirits - demon's I dont
know about (possibly two side-by-side triangles, resembling a single
figure..though they'd have to be slimmer than the holy ones..)
Third class have the same forhead markings as a second class (observation)
and much larger/broader cheek markings (invention on my part, but it makes
sense.
Skuld is treated inconcistantly - she's called a second-class, limited
godess in the 'front cover' art, but a trainee class elsewhere (or maybe
that's in the anime..) 
'spirits' Such as the earth spirits or other elementals, would have the
divided cheek marks of a demon, but not the doubled forhead markings (that
signify evil, or so I've heard..)
