Greetings all welcome to my next crossover! Bwah-ha-ha! Taking a little
time out from Hidden Talents and Ranma/X-Men I decided to whip up a spiffy

Happosai Strikes Out!

A crossover with
Ranma - You're Under Arrest
By
Ray "The Texas Ryoga"

Part 1

"Aww man, am I glad our shift is almost over!" Natsumi Tsujimoto leaned
back in her seat.
"Why is that, Natsumi?" Her erstwhile partner, Miyuki Kobayakawa glanced
at her for a moment as she continued to drive their MiniPatrol R2.
"Hey, Miyuki, we've been working all day long and I just can't wait to
unwind! I've got this really cool Jackie Chan film to watch and even a
couple of American films I think you might like, and I was really hoping on
getting a nice dinner at this new"
Before the Queen Motormouth could continue, a burst of static out of their
radio interrupted her.
"MiniPatrol Six! We have a serious accident on the expressway! Copy?"
Natsumi sat up and snatched the radio. "Roger Yoriko! Gimme a location fix
and we're there!"
Yoriko diligently reported where the accident site was and Miyuki slewed
the car around. "Looks like that end of shift will have to wait, Natsumi."
Miyuki commented.
Her purple-eyed partner groaned theatrically and brushed her short hair
out of her eyes. "Hey, my tapes aren't going anywhere, and if we can help
somebody, it'll be worth it!"
The two traded smiles as Miyuki stepped on the gas and arrowed their
vehicle to the site of the crash.
As the two officers neared the scene, Natsumi let out a slow whistle.
"Wheeeew. Miyuki, this one looks like it might be a bad one," she stated
somberly. "How'd they get this call anyway?"
"I guess one of the traffic helicopters, or maybe a passing car with a car
phone called it in. It might have happened only minutes ago, so we're
probably going to be first on the scene."
"Yeah, well it's good that this stretch is pretty empty, then we won't
have to worry to much about pile-ups or a second accident." The two friends
fell silent as they began to spot signs that they were close.
There was a trail of debris on the winding road and the guard railing on
the side of the road was bent in several places. They rounded the corner
and spotted the apparent accident. A small, white car was crumpled against
the side of the hill. The two could see the skidmarks and while neither was
a forensic scientist both were driver enough to realize that something had
happened to the car, causing it to lose control, weave, and finally veer
off and slam into the side of the mountain. They piled out of the
MiniPatrol and raced over to the stricken vehicle on foot.
They both gasped at the site in front of them. The car had flipped over
before impact and was now directly against the side of the hill. The roof
was apparently crumpled in and there was broken glass everywhere. They
could see slight wisps coming off the tires and could smell the burnt
rubber. Apparently, they had gotten there quickly and the car had only been
there for minutes. There appeared to be two occupants of the car and there
was a considerable amount of blood.
"Miyuki, go back and radio for help. As a matter of fact, radio for a
chopper!" Natsumi wasted no time as she barked at her partner and advanced
on the car, trying to spot a way to open the vehicle and drag the occupants
outside. Miyuki ran as fast as she could and called into the police radio,
relaying the call for help and adding a request for back up. Yoriko
promised to do her best and she rushed back to her partner.
	"Natsumi, what're you doing?"
Natsumi didn't even respond at first. She had both hands around the rear
fender and was straining to apparently pull the car out from against the wall.
"The door is too crumpled to open and with the roof collapsed, we can't
pull 'em out the windshield," she grunted. "The opposite side looks like we
might be able to get it open but I don't know." She continued heaving at
the vehicle and Miyuki stepped in to try to help her out. The scents hit
them both at the same time.
	Gasoline.
And the faintest smell of smoke.
The two exchanged worried looks and redoubled their efforts. The car moved
an inch, then another half.
"Natsumi?" Miyuki half-asked. It was one thing to try to help pull someone
out of a car. It was another to try to move a car that they could not
reasonably move while waiting for it to explode.
They heard a groan from the front and both their faces assumed grim
determined expressions. They couldn't abandon the people in the car, no
matter the danger. The same thought flashed through their minds as they
continued to tug at the car, 'If only we had some help!'
They both flinched in near-disbelief as they heard a young, but deep,
voice come from behind them.
"I think you could use some help."
Natsumi and Miyuki looked up to see a young boy, probably 16 or 17
approaching them. He was wearing a yellow shirt and black pants and had a
yellow bandanna in his hair. As he neared them, they saw his nostrils flare
as he caught the scent of the gasoline and he seemed to erupt into motion
as he realized the danger. He flung a large pack off of his back and
charged towards them. The two cops instinctively backed away as he leapt in
and grabbed the end of the car. They looked at one another in chagrin as
they realized that they would probably need to help the young man, for he
surely couldn't be strong enough to move the car on his own.
Before they could step forward though, they saw his hands lock around the
rear fender of the car and the muscles along his back and shoulders tensed
and bunched. He growled and they could actually see a set of fangs in his
teeth as he threw his head back and began to twist his shoulders. The two
gasped in astonishment as he fully lifted the car and swiveled it cleanly
away from the hillside. They felt as though they were frozen, for it seemed
that all they could do was stand and stare as the youth leaped over the
side of the vehicle, tore the door completely out and reached in and gently
freed both passengers and carefully slung them over his shoulders. He came
leaping again over the car, with both people supported in his arms and
simply called, "C'mon!" as he raced away from the car.
Moments later, they were all safely behind the R2 when the other vehicle
burst into flame. As they set about to administering first aid and waiting
for the air-rescue, Natsumi Tsujimoto and Miyuki Kobayakawa formally met
Ryoga Hibiki.
