Just a belated thought.  While I suspect the godesses are
concealing the actual extent of their powers, shouldn't Ifurita notice
that they aren't _quite_ baseline humans?

Seems reasonable.  But it really depends on your assumptions about the
goddesses -- and the nature of their power.  Do they channel it, or
generate it?  Even if it's inherent to them, is it necessarily something 
that would register on mundane sensors?

Now, in terms of the story, it would be ...interesting... if both sides
know there's something special about the other, but not that the other
knows the same about them...
