One story ends.. another begins. There's always a day after.
"There are no happy endings because nothing ever ends." -- Peter S.
Beagle, "The Last Unicorn"
Hmm.. I may change it to that. It sounds better ^_^

Feel free. I quoted it because your starting line resonated with it in my
head.

And while they were subtle, I think I caught all your setups for future
complications...
Heh.. All the ones hinted in there anyway, some will be surprises ^_^

Well, I couldn't very well pick up on them, now, could I? <grin>

  _Grave robber's_ Club????
The Nekomi Tech Igors strike again!
(chuckle) It's even in the Manga.

Huh. If it's in the early installments, I'll have to go looking for it in
the graphic novel.

exhortations from the spruikers.  Tacky.
"spruikers"? A typo, or something I should go look up in my dictionary?
Hmm.. a little obscure, but it's the person who stands outside circus
rides and tries to attract customers. May change it to barkers.

How about "hucksters"?

her "Come on, I have a few people I want you to see."
Sounds like he's taking her to an appointment. How about "...want you to
meet", instead?
That scans better.  Thanks.

No prob.

actually transpired. What I wonder is, is Ifurita under their
jurisdiction? While labelling her a "god" is probably technohyperbole,
she *is* both a device and native to another universe. Does she even have
an entry in Yggdrasil?
Now _that_ is a very good question. If she didn't, she does now. "No
sparrow shall fall" etc.

<nodnod>

Status wise, she's a 'mortal' rather than divine. And she does have a
soul.. even if it was a partial transplant ^_-

Mmmmm. I'd say she always had a full soul, all her own -- it just needed
a jumpstart from Makoto. But that's just my opinion... Your version is
certainly more poetic and ties the two of them together that much more
closely...

Down, girl!  Down!
(chuckle) This is _Urd_ we're talking about..
Anything worth doing is worth overdoing?
_That_ Urd.
The Groo of matchmaking.

<guffaw!>

"You can no more force Urd to matchmake than you can make the water wet."
<grin>

On a serious note, an omniscient third-person narrator should almost never
use exclamation points. Make that never. It comes across as the text
equivalent of a movie voice-over saying "This is *so* exciting!" The
description is fine, the punctuation should be modified.
mumble mumble mumble..

Sorry...

A stony faced Ifurita shoved her love back, to land sprawling outside
the door, and grabbed the giant by his belt with one hand, easily
lifting him off the floor, the other hand coming back to strike..
About damn time someone clocked that idiot... <grin>
(chuckle) If she _had_ hit him, it would have taken his head off.

Oh, I know. Ifurita knows her own strength, and does not use it
sparingly.

The next time, he _starts_ to greet and stops suddenly.

<MISS MANNERS>
"Much better, Tamiya-san, muuuch better."
</MISS MANNERS>

"Shaddup brat." whispered Urd gazing with equal, if differently
Isn't that a little sharp, even for Urd?
Perhaps, but it is very Urd..

I think I need to read more OMG...

Hmm.. next part has got to have more Belldandy in it. Her sisters
pretty much smothered her.

Yeah, they are a bit more... flamboyant... than she is...

Overall, *very* nice. Definitely goes into my personal archive.
^_^  Thanks!!

You're very welcome.
