This is my first fic.  I was listening to this and the fic just came to me.

[The scene opens with the cramera paning into the Ucchan as
  Ukyou gets ready for bed and she starts to go over some memories]

[Start Music]

I don't need to fall at your feet
just cause you cut me to the bone.

[Ukyou and Ranma fighting over the okonamiyakis that she 
  had made that day as their parents watch on.]

And I don't miss the way that you kiss me.
we were never carved in stone.

[shots of Ranma and Ukyou Playing, wrestling and having a good time.
  We see Ukyou giving Ranma loving looks whenever his back is turned
  as their parents plan their future in the background.]

If I don't listen to the talk of the town.
then maybe I can fool myself.

[We see Ukyou mad, embarresd, and very upset at all the girls
  talking and reminding her about her failed engagement.] 

I'll get over you, I know I will.
I'll pretend my ship's not sinking.
And I'll tell myself I'm over you.
cause I'm the king of wishful thinking

[We see Ukyou as she vows to never again love and to live her
  life as a male.  We see her as she trains by the sea.  The screen 
  fades out as she cries herself to sleep.]

I refuse to give into my blues
That's not how it's going to be.

[We see Ukyou in middle school trying to have a good time and 
  make new friends as she tries to forget the past.]

and I deny the tears in my eyes 
I don't want to let you see.

[Her eyes start to water as she notices all the couples in the
park that she's playing in and she leaves.]

noo that you have made a hole in my heart.
and now I've got to fool myself.

[she goes home and spends hours staring at a picture of her
and Ranma when they were little kids and remembers the past.]

I'll get over you, I know I will.
I'll pretend my ship's not sinking.
And I'll tell myself I'm over you.
cause I'm the king of wishful thinking

[We see Ukyou trying harder to be a boy, even going so far as dating
  other girls and we watch her as she beats back Tsubasa.  We see 
other shots of her training hard by the sea and the screen fades with
 her crying herself to sleep.]

I'll get over you, I know I will.
I'll pretend my ship's not sinking.
And I'll tell myself I'm over you.
cause I'm the king of wishful thinking

[We watch as Ukyou tracks down Ranma and fights him.
  We see how her heart opens when Ranma calls her cute.  
  We see them as they start their friendship anew.]

If I don't listen to the talk of the town

[We see Ukyou as she gets embarresed by everyone talking
 about her and Ranma and as they ask him if it's over with Akane
 and he doesn't comfirm it.]

I'll get over you, I know I will.
I'll pretend my ship's not sinking.
And I'll tell myself I'm over you.

[We watch Ukyou as she opens her restuarant and watch as she meets the 
 others for the first time.  Flashs come of all of the various plans she
 came up with to try and get Ranma.]

I'll get over you, I know I will.
you made a hole in my heart.
my devotion'll cheer for you
I'll be the king of wishfull thinking.

[We see Ukyou as see watchs Ranma always going off to save
  Akane and how he always defends her form everyone and yet 
  she stills helps them out whenever she can.  Fades out with Ukyou 
  crying herself to sleep.]

I'll get over you, I know I will.
I'll pretend my hearts still beating
cause I've got no more tears for you
I'm the king of wishful thinking

[The screen fades in as Ranma walks into the Ucchan and Ukyou
  looks up in joy only to have it turn into a look of saddness when she
  sees that Akane is with him.  As usual they get into a fight and 
  Akane storms out and Ranma makes to go after her then turns 
  around and stays and talks to Ukyou.  The screen returns to the start  
  and we see Ukyou in bed but instead of tears there's a look of pure joy 
  on her face.]
