Oddly enough, it is in the same continuity as my 'Wish for Batman'
story I posted a few months back. The continuity is hard to spot
at first, but...
Still haven't spotted the tie-in.... :)

Very interesting; good take on Keiichi's personality. The question
is, now, are you continuing this? ^_^ If you know what's good for you....

Ow. I get it, already.... Anyway, this looks like a great
beginning to something.
I'm still not that clear on Mara's name. Mara or Marller?
Which is it, and why is there a difference.
I'm guessing (and I guess because I yet haven't seen a manga
episode in Japanese with Mara in it), that her katakana-ized name goes
something like "Ma-ra-" so it could be either. However, I'd go for the
"Mara" translation, because of this--
"She said, 'Call me no longer Naomi, call me Mara, for the
Almighty has dealt bitterly with me.'" Book of Ruth, chapter 1, verse 20
In light of Mara's past, I think this is rather appropriate...and
considering how Naomi-called-Mara is eventually blessed by God through her
daughter-in-law Ruth, and how your Mara is taking a turn for the better,
it is even more so.
