ENTER DATZO

Well, how would I start this...
I'm a sci-fi fan boy. I specifically like Star Trek. Yes, I know,
you might say that the series I'm still clinging to is, how shall we put
it, 'in the riough'. But 'nuf of that. I still like the series. And to
show my loyalty to the franchise, I'm going to do what other fans might
call a blaspheme to the Star Trek Universe...
But, wait a while (hey, this is not yet the part where i do an
exposition on what my works are - I'm still introducing meself). I also
like Babylon 5. I especially like the political intrigue meshed into the
very grains of the series and in its epic nature. Well, I'm also into the
things people here in this flat are into (need I say it? - whew, I'm
qualified after all ;]). I love 'Please Save My Earth', 'Once Upon A
Time', And part of (yes, you'll probably hate me for not finishing it or
plead me to finish it) 'El Hazard'. As for series: 'Ranma' and 'Thunder
Jet'. Ok, I'll explain why I like the latter. It is because of the war
and political aspect of the latter series was I hooked ultimately to the
series. Incidentally, I also like it because it is distinctly similar to
a Chinese historical novel 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms' which is also
a pc strategy game which has developed my prowess in politics and
strategy.
Oh, by the way, I shall warn you. I have a 'warlord' syndrome which
will permeate my works. Politics and strategies are my game. (I have a
copy of Sun Tzu: The Art of War). Also, I'm a techno boy and will attempt
to infuse new technologies to my series.
Oh, by the way, I'm also into Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time Series.
I like the series very much. Can't wait for the next installment...

ENTER THE GATES...

Ah, yes, we're in this part of my 'teaser'.
First things first...Now, about that blaspheme I was talking about.
I am about to chronicle the death of the Federation. Yes, you read it
right: The destruction of the United federation of Planets. This time,
all good things...
Anyway, I have a rough sketch of thwe events that would transpire.
The series is provisionally entitled "ENDGAME". The first book is
provisionally entitled "ENDGAME: Turbulence", where the fun starts. The
last book is going to be entitled "ENDGAME: Chaos" (OK, don't ask me for
the titles of the middle parts or even HOW many books/parts are there
going to be). I shall attempt to tie together the many strings of the
Star Trek Universe. As an added teaser: Deep Space Nine is going to be
the last bastion of the Federation and Voyager is going to make an
appearance. As for the Enterprise, let's just say she'll live up to her
predecessors' heritage. There's going to be a new ship, a battleship.
(Don't worry, as far as I'm concerned, I'm quite up to date with
the series)
The next project I would undertake has an aninme flavor to qualify
me work. It's my own series entitled: "S T E L L A R I S". It will
feature some similarities with ST And B5. Nd of course, humor et al.
Stellaris is by definition a fleet. Stellaron is the term for
spacecrafts or starships (to hopefully start a trend and not to use the
current designations). It's going to have an epic feel in the likes of
Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time. O, by the way, bloody conflicts and
devious politics will be primary ingredients side by side with scientific
approaches and humor. Unlike my first fiction, the books in this series
is preesently untitled and I am now attempting to write the history of
things to formally begin. It begins with the exposition os a divided
Earth with space-faring capabilities and its transformation as it
encounters an oppressed people warning them of a Great Enemy.

Now that I've teased you...

STELLARIS SERIES
Book 1 (Temporarily Untitled - Datzo)

P R O L O G U E
Sacrifices

Walking briskly towards the gangplank before her, midst the
anxious faces that awaited her from the windows of the shuttle, she
looked back at the figure she had left behind. Despite his stern warning
on making this goodbye quick, she still glanced back and tried to consume
every detail she could of her beloved brother. The pinkish glow that
surrounded them both came from the third moon, De'ra. It made him glow
awkwardly and cast reddish shades on his white dress uniform. His
shoulder plates still glowed golden. She hated the thought.
	Blood...
She can not handle the tears anymore. She trudged towards the
shuttle, cloaked in darkness. Only those anxious faces seemed to weigh
more than the sacrifice of his brother. Her heart pounded hard against
her chest.
She slowly stepped on the mettalic plank. It seemed to echo in the
small clearing. The silence struck her.
	But someone broke it.
"My love for you will extend even beyond the heavens. Pray, dear
sister that the Light shall triumph in the end..."
She looked back. Again. She will break.
"But be not concerned for me. For us. We are but a few among
many..."
	No. Stop. Please.
"Your mission is as important as mine. Go. Warn."
She thought of running back to his strong arms and sought comfort
in his strong character. He was so dear to her. When their parents died,
he was the one who cared for her. For her, she owed everything to him.
Except that he had to be good in the martial skills. He also had to be
good in strategies and the arts of war. He had to.
For her, she had to be an exceptional ambassador, training for
five years in the Likan when she was barely at the right age to look for
a partner.
They just had to be prominent in the Administrative. They just had to.
The Light knew why they had to be painted that way...
He lowered his hands and opened his palm. She couldn't go on.
	"No. GO!"
So hard. So painful. But what must be done, must be.
"My irkha, the window is narrowing to three lapses. We must hurry."
A voice from the shuttle bellowed.
"Love and..." it was an inappropriate thing to say, "...peace light
your path, dear seij."
She ran the two spans of it. The door shut closed behind her and
the clicking of the vacuum seals forever severed her physical bond to
him. She almost fell from the momentum but was saved by the guard by just
being there. She rested her arms on his shoulders. Tears rolled.
Settling down on her appointed chair, she wept. It was like a part
of her self was being ripped from her. A part so dear. A part nothing
else could replace. There was now that void that filled her. And in that
void, a voice arose.
What must be done must be.
Stillness. Calm. That voice, soothing. The presence that she knew
of him was being destroyed. Yet another presence of him was there. Though
it did not replace the void.
Midst the hopeful gazes of everyone around her as the shuttle
lifted from the forest clearing and began piercing the thick, night
clouds, dread filled her. She stared outside the window before the safety
plates covered it as the craft prepared to Stride, then, she let out a
cry and wept bitterly.
	What must be, must be.

The heat from the home star burned fiercely. It was the middle of
summer. But the heat was enough to drive any living creature of thirst.
In what was his seemingly last gulp of water, he looked around him as
hundreds of structures burned around him. What was once a part of the
First City known as the Menar Bajim, a place where they enjoyed
themselves with the arts. Now, its just a burning furnace ready to cook
him and his company.
A man of his age approached him.
