OK, I've been rereading some of the fanfics about new male characters
for SM and the Muse of Insanity ( Hannibal Lecter in a pretty dress )
decided it was time to give me another kick in the head.
Why not an alternate universe where we shift the genders of every
character in the SM universe ? Not during the season but straight
from the _beginning_ . Instead of a Queen Serenity we get a male
equivalent and all that. Granted that would make a really weird yaoi
fic in one instance, I think the idea has not been done yet.
Or a variation on that idea , that I've worked on for awhile after I was
struck by the idea ( I always get distracted from working on my current
fics by a new idea) we could instead of having Sailor Senshi we could
have an all male cast of tuxedo wearing, rose throwing, handsome boys.
And this time Usagi would be the one who would have to pull Mamoru's
ass out of the fire.
Bishomen No Senshi Tuxedo Moon ? ( I hope I get that Japanese phrase right)
Really weird, isn't it.
BTW, the way I worked on the idea was supposed to send these male version of
the Senshi into their timestream, a sample of this insanity can be found below:
' Well, technically in our timestream we are you.' Kyoshiro explained to his
female counterpart, Rei, who getting very confused.
' You mean you're me ?!? I'm getting confused.' Rei said.
' Anyway as our great Guardian of Time over here explains ,' Kyoshiro
said sarcastically as he pointed his thumb at the green-haired boy beside
him ' we were caught in a space time distortion that sent us flying all over
the place.'

Maybe I should release it when I finish with it.

' Writers are the torchbearers of civilization. We're set in a corner only we
can illuminate. Some of us are searchlights, able to cast a beam into the
far reaches of the human soul. Some of us are candles , barely able to
sustain a glow against the darkness. Nevertheless the words I write
are important, because light is additive. Another's light doesn't diminish
my own. Our lights together make us stronger.'

' There is no such thing as fiction. There is no such thing as imagination.
Everthing's friggin' real.Everything's also one hell of an illusion. What that
mean's ,my dear reader, is that you, me , the chair you're sitting on,
the chair I'm sitting on, are participants in one of the biggest fucking lies
in the history of Time: Reality'
