I think I like this school, mind you, I don't want it anywhere near my
house or city for that matter, but I like this school.
I am looking forward to more of this story.
So far other than Sassami being as mercenary as Nabiki I haven't found
any really OOC people yet. I like that.
Actually, if you read the manga/comic that follows the first OAV series,
Sasami IS that mercenary. At least she is with both Aeka and Ryoko. Pretty
funny actually.
I really like where this story is headed to as well, though I do hope you
intend to keep the other anime members more as cameo appearances than in
full glory. Right now you seemed to have that pretty balanced. Since you
seem to want to focus on Ryoko's (and hopefully later, Aeka's) reaction to
Earth-type school, keeping the crossover characters in the background would
probably be for the best.
BTW, Chris, if you don't think it's too rude, might I ask if you have any
bias for or against any of the women in Tenchi's life? The first couple of
chapters seem to have a slight pro-Ryoko bias to them. Not so much in the
fact that it's Ryoko that comes up with the school idea in the first place,
but rather in little ways, like Aeka's snobbish reaction to Ryoko's
actions, and Ryoko being so genuinely emotional around Tenchi. (Something
that always frustrated me about the OAV's; that Ryoko told everyone BUT
Tenchi why exactly she loved him. Ya know, that whole Cave-astral
projection scene. If she'd just tell *Tenchi* that...)
Other than that, great story, and more, more!! :)
