CHARACTERS

Adults:

Tendo Soun: Takes over Ikari Gendo's role as the NERV commander driven to
obsession in reviving his wife, Kimiko, even if it means destroying his own
daughter, Akane. Age 40.

You'd have to make him into a real bastard, since Gendo is a bastard.  I won't
bore the FFML with my reasons, but if you want them, I'll send them to you.  In
explicit detail, too!  ^_^

Akagi Nodoka: Now only *thirty*, she was the secret lover of Soun and is in
charge of the Magi computers.  Best friend of Hinako.

I take she dyed her hair blonde and started smoking?

? Hinako: Age 29 (I pushed up her age a bit) , Nodoka's friend and tactican
for NERV. Acts as mother figure to Akane.

Taking over Misato's job.  Hmmm...

Ono Tofu:Age 30.  Once Hinako's boyfriend, now acts as a companion to both
her and Nodoka.

Tofu taking over Kaji character!?!  talk about opposites...

? Kasumi: 19, a genius College student who postponed her education to work
at Nerv as Nodoka's assistant, who she admired.

And taking over the job of Our very own Evangelion bridge bunny Maya Ibuki is
the lovely Kasumi!  ^_^

Children (eva pilots):

1st Child: Ayanami Mousse (grown to be 16).  A clone with Soun and Lilith's
genes.  Grown partly to fullfil his late wife's wish of having a son but
mostly for the HCP (3rd impact) to free Kimiko's soul. Originally silent,
and follows order like a puppet, he eventaully expresses his emotions when
Soun's repressed fatherly tendencies towards Akane shown through him (and
he's not blind). Eventually, he became a brother to her (which he was).

erk!?!  Mousse... as a Eva pilot?  Hmmm....   AUGH!!!  I just imagined him in a
plug suit!  MAKE IT STOP!!!  MAKE IT STOP!!!!

Just kidding!  ^_^(repeat as nessecary...)

2nd Child: Ranma Saotome (16).  As a child, he was frequently pushed past
the extreme of his endurance by his martial arts crazed father.  After
getting a cat-phobia, yet still unable to master the technique of Cat-fu,
his father shunned him as a failure and sold him off to a military plant
that wanted a child to perform experiments on.

Geez.... that's one hell of a child hood.  And here is our daily dose of angst
in this fanfic.

He was found to have the
potential to pilot eva.  Having no other goals in life, he saw being the
best eva pilot ever as his only goal.

Yep...  definate source of angst.

Trying to erase his childhood shame,
he became egoistic and loud-mouthed.

He despises the fact that Akane can
pilot better than him, thus always picked fights with her.  He sees Mousse
as a retard.

3rd Child: Tendo Akane (16).  A destructive, fiery girl who used fighting
as an outlet to overcome her insecurities. She hated her father for
abandoning her, then later forcing her to be a pilot.  She tend to snap at
those close to her, and the annoying Ranma provided just the outlet that
she needed.  Has a strange fondness of Mousse, whom she was nice to.

4th Child: Shampoo (16).  She fought with Akane for accidentally putting
her Hiba-chan in hospital.  After realizing that Akane had been forced into
the job without training, and some scolding by the old lady, she apologized
and swore to became her friend.  She enjoyed flirting with handsome boys,
but won't actually give up her virginity for anyone unless he is to be her
husband for real.  Enjoy taunting Ranma by shoving her cat in his terrified
face.

Shampoo as a Eva pilot.... I hope Nerv has a very large insurance bill for all
those damaged buildings, of thier won't be a tokyo-3 after the first Angel.

5th Child: Kuonji Ukyou (16).  A melancholic, androgynous girl who was
being sent to Nerv from STEEL as a backup pilot.  She quickly became real
friends with Akane and Shampoo.  She was later revealed to be the 17th
angel as she was forced to defeat another angel that was using Shampoo as a
hostage.  Apparently, she was cloned by STEEL to speed up the prophecy of
the angel attack.  Soun tried to kill her but Akane and the others stopped
him. She was then placed under strict supervision at the NERV centre to
prevent her from starting the 3rd impact.  After finding out the giant
placed underground was actually Lilith and not Adam, she gave up her goal
and sided with them to take revenge upon STEEL, who had manipulated her.

Now this charachter has definate growth potential.

Children (others)

Herb: The no-nonsense Class president of Tokyou-3 high, who later developed
a crush on the deviate Shampoo.

Kurumi: Shampoo and Akane's (and much later, Ukyou's)friend.  A girl who
was naive enough to WISH being a eva pilot.  She didn't meet the
qualifications.

Animals

Mu-Mu Chan: Hinako's pet, an intelligent duck that is also a junk food
consumer and beer drinker.

Nuki Chan: Shampoo's pet, a pink, cute kitten.

Hmmm... Despite my allready stated slight prejudice against Ranma 1/2, this
actually looks as if it would be good, *if* someone with the right... touch for
angsty fanfics, and if he(or she) didn't fall into the trap of automatically
transplanting thier personalities in whole from the Ranma 1/2 universe  to this
one.

Unfortunately, I allready have far to much going on to touch this one, cause
this one actually looks worth doing... and reading, if it was done well.  Hope
someone takes this one up.
