<Hi!>
Hi yourself SKJAM! and let me just say one thing before I get to the
parts of your comments that concern me....
Now THIS is how you do C&C if you disagree with something.
<"If I were in the same situation, with the same bad information as
Mamoru, how much less suspiciously would I be acting?">
Me? I'd back off and try to show that I'm a good person, instead of
going behind everyones backs and sabatoging(sp?) my chances of being
trusted again.
<While Mr. Davies was...ungenerous...in his criticisms,>
(Snort) To say the least.
<Ami: Usagi, I've been running a background check on Ranma and I've
found something rather disturbing.
Usagi: Really? But Ranma's such a nice person!
Ami: Well, maybe now, but once he gets his memory back? I found out
that he's under sentance of death in some place named Joketsuzoku for
an "attack on one of their female citizens.>
Amazons keep computer records? ^_^
<Usagi: But Ranma doesn't attack girls.
Ami: It gets worse. They've offered to commute his death sentance
if Ranma marries the girl, a Shan Puu.
Usagi: But that would mean...
Ami: I'm afraid so. Ranma is obviously a convicted rapist. It's on
a computer so it must be true.
Usagi: Does that mean the wedding is off?>
(Facefault)
<(back to prose mode)
See how easy it it?>
Point taken.
<Doug, you mentioned "Bitter End" and "Ill Met" and asked (more or
less) what the differences between those and "Mama's Hand" is
(outside the obvious plot contingencies.)>
Actually, that was me.
<SNIP, a dang convincing argument.>
(Zero and J.Bison, who were readying the torture device, suddenly
slump as they see Flashman listening to SKJAM!)
Bison: Does this mean we're not going to kill him now?
Flashman: Don't worry. We're going to try and be nicer and more
understanding to Mamoru, (evil grin) but Endymion's still fair game.
I guess the reason this story gets me so uptight is because I have
known several people who have been abused by their parents over the
course of my life. I thank God it's never happened to me, but it
still gets to me when I see it happen to someone else.
<Well, that turned out to be quite a few words. Hope I haven't bored
too much.>
You? Boring? NEVER.
