This thread has gone quite far enough. There's no need to make groundless
accusations of rigging polls and favoritism. If any of the involved
parties feel the need to continue this discussion, they can feel free to
do it via private email.

Given that Jeanne Hedge is doing the vote-counting, though, the thought
that the poll is anything but aboveboard strikes me as profoundly silly.
