Top Finishers in the 1997 Readers' Choice Annual Poll

Anyone else notice all the fanfics being voted on these lists are
basically Ranma fanfics?
Could it be that only fans of Ramna fanfiction bother to take part
in rigged polls like these? 

	Considering the Readers' Choice thing is a *Ranma* fanfic
poll, I'd expect Ranma fanfics to win.
	I'd have to agree, though, that titling the post "Best Fanfics
of 1997," with no mention of "Ranma" anywhere, is misleading at best.
	I've considered running a non-Ranma fanfic poll for 1997, but
my theory is that that would be far more biased, simply because many
people have never seen some of the series involved and wouldn't vote
for those fics.  Still, is there any interest in such a poll?
