Hmm, it sounds interesting....could be fun.  If you decide to do it, I got
an idea for which bar they could wind up in.........

Got one to throw back at you though.  Captain Harlock and the Arcadia vs
The Yamato (Our Star Blazers in the USA)

Or Better yet, The Yamato vs the SDF-1 (Macross).  Reflex weaponry vs the
wave motion cannon.....

Not nearly as interesting. :-)

As everyone should know, Tylor's ship is an old piece of junk, only he has
the most *incredible* luck that makes him seem as a strategic genius, and
by incredibly turns of luck, defeat any opponent. Neither of the persons
can possibly lose, so the only logical solution is that they somehow end
up drinking together somewhere (Restaurant at the end of the universe?),
as both are known to grab the bottle quite easily sometimes..

Also, Harlock uses very interesting strategies and weaponry sometimes:
like the switch-blade that come from the nose of the ship when they ram
against the enemy. (I laughed my ass off when I first saw it.)

(IMO Harlock is usually pictured as the most competent and experienced 
space ship captain in all of anime, where as Tylor is the most 
incompetent, and most lucky.)
