I found this to be a very well-written story, with deep character insights
and smoothly flowing prose.

Its weakness, IMO, was the characterization of Ukyo. It's not a matter of
whether it agrees with her canon or not. The way she's presented in this
story seems to me bland and one-dimensional. Does this Ukyo ever want
something that's not best for all concerned? Does she ever lose her
temper? Make bad judgements? In short, does she have any character faults
at all? If she does, I sure don't see any evidence of it in this story,
and that makes the characterization of her dull and bland to me.

In closing, Zen, let me say that despite the above complaint I sincerely
enjoyed reading your fic _________LONG AND WINDING ROAD 2____, and hope to
see more from you soon.
