about this story to me before; in point of fact this is the first feedback
I have recieved from him. I am as yet left to wonder why Mr. Davies hates
me so much and would attack people who are obviously enjoy my story.
Perhaps because this story is horribly out of tone with the series and
puts many of the characters through hell?
He has express the my characterization of Mamoru is wrong, well need Mamoru
be expressed in one way continually for every peice of fanfictions? No, as
Mamoru should resemble the anime or manga Mamoru, or else one isn't
writing about Mamoru, one is writing about some other character entirely
named Mamoru. The same applies to any of the other characters. While
there's always room for interpretation, one can reach a point where the
characters are no longer recongizible in behavior.
If an author can't write a fanfic using a recognizable characterization
of the characters, they need to find some other set of characters who WILL
do what is needed for the story without bending them into pretzels.
mr. Davies would read this far in a story or the MSTs and C&C people send,
if he dislikes it so much.
Because if you just read the first chapter of something and say it's crap,
you typically get condemned for only examining it superficially. Some
stories start out poorly and get better (or start out well and get bad),
and if one is to offer meaningful commentary or even a well done flame,
you can't read just a little.
Oh yes that's right Mr. Davies doesn't think I'll be ending the emtional
manipulation for Chibi-Usa, Usagi and Mamoru. How would he know though, has
Because there's not much sign of that in the story. One can only watch
characters you care about go through hell for so long without starting to
get sick of it.
