Well, I seem to remember promising to get out the next chapter of A
Thousand Nights of Dreams in the middle of last month, but it never
happened.  It's done, but school started and I never got around to doing
a final revision with my last round of prereader input.  Anyway, if you
really want a copy, e-mail me and I'll get one to you (maybe not the
final version, though).

That's not the point of this message, however.  The point of this
message is that I'm not really able to do both school and creative
writing at the same time (I don't mean time-wise, I mean "not able" in
the sense of "can't").  And I have another project that I want to
undertake and would like some input with.

For some time I've been wanting to compile a webpage list of "must read"
fics for many series.  Stuff like the Tales of Younger * stories for
Sailor Moon and pretty much anything by God Boy.  

My desire to write this arose after I decided that I'd like to read some
more Sailor Moon fics after reading Shieldsman.  I started browsing the
major Sailor Moon archives (umm.. I think there are 5, maybe more) and I
found out that not only is there a LOT of SM stuff out there, but a fair
amount of it is pretty bad.  The same goes for Ranma, and just about
every other series out there.

I spent dozens of hours perusing archives and found a handful of fics
that were pure gold.  In essence, I want to put up a page honoring those
fics that are truely good, as well as their authors.  

There are several personal web pages out there with links to other
fiction that the author likes, and over the last year or so (since I
became interested in fanfiction) I've made extensive use of them in
finding good reading material.  However, most of these lists are single
series (almost exclusively Ranma).  I want to make it easy for a person
who sees, let's say, RotLW to find some of the better fiction available
quickly (not that I've done a whole lot of searching into RotLW fics,
myself).  

So what I want to know is which fics YOU would recomend to a person who
wants to start reading a particular series or any really good
crossovers. 
I need to know the name of the fic, the author (if you know it) and I'd
love to have their web page address.  If you know of good archives,
they'd be welcome, as well.

This is a pet project of mine so I'm fairly certain that I'll actually
manage to get it done.  Though I'd like to make sure that I've got it
set up by mid March (spring break, I'm bound and determined to get 1k
Nites done through chapter 3 by the time it's over).
