In the fict, Serenity did a lot of things in the name of protecting the
world. However like the technocracy she may have become so obsessed with
protecting humanity that she would destroy what made them human to
accomplish her
goal. One thing to consider- Serenity did what she did after many
centuries of
fighting. She felt she was perfectly justified and was doing the right
thing. I
very much doubt that Sailor moon would feel in any way similar about those
actions. It might be interesting to see a confrontation where he faces
Serenity
only to discover that she agrees with him about her future selves actions.

I see your point, but you're forgetting some things:

What gives him the right to say that what she did is wrong? How do we even
know that his perception of what she did is correct? We're seeing the
future through his eyes, with his heavy bias.
The bias is very heavy, however the simple fact is that he has every
right to believe and say that what she did was wrong. An important part of
his revealed character is that he values freedom and choice, and his
rejection of Serenity is more a rejection of her eliminating choice by
polarising society so that she and Crystal Tokyo become the single standard
of right.
As for whether this beleif is valid or not, that's not something
that can easialy be assessed. We would need to know a lot more: the full
effects and reason't for Serenity's actions, the likely conciquences of her
acting differently, and of course there's the perpetual question of how
important the internal darkness is to humanity.(See the ending of Nauscaa of
the valley of the winds.)

Remember: In the minds of the bad guys...THEY are the good guys, and the
'heroes' are the bad guys.
"Luke you're going to find that many of the truths we cling to are
dependant largely on our own point of view."
Hmm, eliminate the question of Good and Bad, and consider their
actions in respect to freedom, the survival of humanity, the balance of
order and chaos in the world... Every standard of judgement will indicate a
different judgement of who's in the right.

That is something that I keep in mind when I read IHTH, and I find in many
ways, it makes the fic more enjoyable. We don't really know if what he
believes is the actual truth.
