Subject: Sad news

I don't know if you guys have heard or not, but Kondo Yoshifumi, the
director of Mimi o Sumaseba, died early this morning of an aneurysm.  I am
very sad because Mimi o Sumaseba has been my favorite movie since I saw it
several years ago.  It is for the most part why I have been learning
Japanese (to better understand the film's sensibilities).
