                        THE FFML ROYAL RUMBLE:
                               MATCH 1:
                        DAN/SAKURA/UNDERTAKER
                                 VS
                        ZEIRAM/RADITZ/KODACHI
                           (MVFC VS ANIME)

The Nassau Colosium was filled to SRO capacity. This was the
night Anime fans and members of the FFML had been waiting for. The
chance to see if their favorite Animates would win this once in a
lifetime battle.

Sitting on a raised platform near the curtain where the
contestants were going to enter, two broadcasters began the
commentary for the PPV audience at home. "From the Nassau Colosium,
welcome everyone," the one on the left said, "to the FFML Royal
Rumble! I'm White Wolf."

"And I'm Tybalt," his partner added, "Well Wolf, this is
it!"

"You got that right," White Wolf replied, "Tonight, thirty
Animates will compete in the most spectacular Royal Rumble EVER.
However, before we go on to THAT match, we have two special matches.
The first one, coming up now, is a cross promotional match with the
MVFC (Multiverse Video Fighters Council). What they've done is
brought three of their best and most popular fighters here for a six
man tag match with three of our Animates."

Tybalt cut in as the loud speakers started to play "Can't Get
Enough" (which, if you don't get the pun, is Flash Funk's theme
music) and he said, "I think we better turn our attention to the ring.
There's the announcer, we're about to get under way!"

Flashman, in a tuxedo, came through the curtains and was
amazed at the amount of applause he received. He knew his fics had
several loyal followers but this was a bit overwhelming. Taking a
deep breath to calm his nerves, he walked to the ring, stepped
through the ropes and grabbed the microphone lowered to him. He
spoke into it and said, "Hello folks! Are you ready to
RUUUUUUUUMBLLLLLLE?!

The crowd answered in the affirmative and Flashman nodded at
the time keeper, who rang the bell. As "Psycho-Dance" began to play
over the speakers, Flashman continued his monologue as the three
figures made their way towards the ring and earned a large amount of
boos.

"This six man contest, is scedualed for one fall.
Introducing first, at a total combined weight of 723 pounds... here
are Zeiram, Raditz, and Kodachi."

"HOHOHOHOHOHO," Kodachis laugh carried through the arena and
even Zeiram shuddered from it as the gymnast boasted, "Soon we shall
show that Animates are far superior to video game characters."

The music soon faded and the song "Wild Cat" started to play.
The crowd gave a standing ovation as Sakura, the "Shakotan School
Girl" skipped to the ring, giving high fives to whoever asked for
them. She giggled at the several <MARRY ME SAKURA> signs that some
of the fans held up. She daintily stepped through the ropes and
shadow boxed as she waited for her partners.

Her music faded and was followed by "Ode to Glory". The
crowd once again let out a large pop as Dan, the MVFC champion, ran
to the ring, rolled under the ropes and came out on his knees where
he arm flexed for his fans and shouted, "OYAJI!"

        The lights went out.

        A bell tolled.

        Then it tolled again.

The crowd cheered as "Graveyard Symphony" came in full blast
and a single, purple spotlight illuminated the gargantuan form of the
Undertaker.

Slowly marching to the ring, the Undertaker walked up the
stairs and slowly raised his hands. Three white spotlights came up.
The one on the left illuminated Sakura. The one on the right
illuminated Dan and the one in the middle was soon filled by the
Undertaker. "What's going on," Dan asked, "what's he trying to do?"

"Just follow my lead," Sakura replied, "I think I know what
he wants."

Sakura whipped her nose and then gestured at the opponents as
she said, "That's the way it goes."

Dan caught on quickly as he did and held his Thumbs Up pose.
Undertaker slowly raised his hands again and the lights in the arena
rose as the trio of MVFC fighters stood in their win poses. Raditz
snorted as he taunted, "Nice show. NOW DO YOU PLAN ON *FIGHTING*
ANYTIME SOON?!!"

The Undertaker removed his coat as Dan replied while flexing
his arm, "Anytime you're ready, Monkey Boy!"

Raditz might have answered but he was rudely pushed out of
the way by Zeiram, who slowly approached the Undetaker. Seeing that
these two wanted to start, the others headed for their respective
corners.

Flashman crawled under the ring and activated the terminal
that sat there. The words, <Ref O Matic> popped up on the screen.
Flashman typed several commands on the key board and then the screen
flashed, <Six Man Tag Team Contest Program Engaged. MVFC Rules.>

Zeiram and the "man from the dark side" stood, still as stone,
as they glared at each other. Finally the Undertaker spoke, "You
understand, you are like me. A creature of the night."

Zeiram said nothing and instead threw a fist at the
Undertakers face. The blow struck but seemed to have no visible
effect as Undertaker answered with one of his patented underhand
chops. The blow had the same effect on Zeiram as the bio warriors
shot, absolutely none. Undertaker followed up with a kick to the
stomach and another underhand chop. He grabbed Zeirams arm and threw
him into the ropes. Undertaker ran to the other side and bounced
back at Zeiram, staggering him with a clothes line. Undertaker
garbed Zeiram by the throat and choke slammed him down to the mat.

Undertaker stood and backed off as Zeiram rose to his feet.
The doll face on his hat suddenly sprang to life and growled at the
mortician. It shot forward and Undertaker ducked. The doll face
stopped mere inches from Sakuras face, the flesh cord that attached
it to Zeiram having reached its limit. Sakura started to fall
backward but caught herself and snarled, "Why you... HADOKEN!"

The ki burst Sakura let loose hit the doll face hard and it
zipped back into Zeirams hat, as the creature himself howled in pain.
Undertaker moved in and started to use his fists on the doll face,
earning more screams from Zeiram. Zeiram staggered back and made the
tag to Raditz. Raditz entered and snarled as he pointed at Dan, "I
don't want you, Dead Man. I want HIM!"

Undertaker tagged in Dan and the champion replied, "You want
it? You GOT it!"

Dan went for a Gale Kick but Raditz dodged and grabbed Dan
from behind. He slammed the MVFC champion down to the mat, face
first and tried to stomp on his head. Fortunately, Dan rolled out of
the way at the last second and regained his footing.

He didn't stay there long however as Raditz was all over him
with punches to the stomach, chest, head and back. Raditz took hold
of the scruff on Dans neck and threw him high into the air. Raditz
flew up after him and kicked him in the stomach. Dan coughed up a
small amount of blood and fell back to the center of the ring. He
landed hard and was almost pinned as Raditz placed a foot on his
chest. However, he managed to get enough strength to kick out on two.

"Okay," Flashman nodded while still under the ring, "that
part of the program is working."

Raditz watched, amused, as Dan stood again and got into a
fighting stance. Dan grinned through a bloody lip as he said, "Time
for the big guns. GADOKEN!"

The fireball barely left his hand before it fizzled and died.
 Raditz laughed his head off.

        "GADOKEN!"

The same result. Raditz's laughing gained a second wind at
that and he said as he tried to stop himself, "That's IT???"

He leaned forward and pointed to his chin as he closed his
eyes and said, "Go ahead. Hit me with it. I'll bet it won't even
phase me."

Dan looked at the audience, and thought, "Dang... and I
though KING was stupid."

        "SHINKU..."

Raditz opened his eyes, starting to realize he may have made
a mistake.

        "GADOKEN!!"

The super attack slammed into Raditz's face and sent the Saya-
Jin warrior flying backwards into the ropes. "IMMPOSIBLE," Raditz
thought, "that HURT! He's only human! How could he have done that?
!"

Dan glowed and unleashed a custom combo, kicking and punching
Raditz for all he was worth. "KORYUKEN," Dan cried as the combos
time limit expired.

The Dragon Punch variant doubled the damage factor of the
combo and sent Raditz sprawling into his corner. Dan taunted Raditz
as he tagged in Kodachi. Dan went over to Sakura and said, "She's
all yours."

The tag was made and the two girls prepared for action.
Sakura and Kodachi circled each other warily, waiting for the other
to make the first move. Kodachi twirled her ribbon in a tight circle
in front of her as she said, "So, the young girl wishes to battle the
Black Rose? HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOH..
..."

While Kodachi was laughing, Sakura hit her in the mouth with
her right fist as she snapped, "Shut up already! That laugh is
giving me a headache!"

Kodachi staggered back and shook out her head. She looked at
Sakura with venom in her eyes and she snarled, "A good first blow but
it will not save you. For the Black Rose shall win this day and my
darling Ranma shall be so impressed by my victory that he shall...."

        "SHO-OKEN!!"

Sakuras variant of the Dragon Punch hit Kodachi in the
stomach and then changed into an uppercut that sent both girls into
the air. Sakura landed on her feet as Kodachi landed on her back.
Sakura muttered, "And here I thought that HAMAOURU talked too much."

Now driven to her limit, Kodachi rose to her feet and flung
her ribbon at Sakura. The school girl was caught off guard and the
ribbon wrapped around her neck. Kodachi heaved and threw Sakura into
the air.

When she was at the highest point, Kodachi tugged and slammed
Sakura down to the mat. She heaved again and flung Sakura upwards
again. In mid air, Sakura thought, "This is like Birdie's move...
and I know how to counter it."

When Kodachi tugged again, Sakura turned into it so that she
landed on her feet and while Kodachi was caught flat footed, she
leaped forward and cried, "JINPUKEN!"

Kodachi was soon eating sneaker, as Sakuras "bastardized"
version of the Hurricane Kick hit home. Kodachi fell back in pain
and surprise, losing her grip on her ribbon in the process. Sakura
pulled the piece of silk off her neck and watched as Kodachi rolled
to her corner, promptly tagging in Zeiram. Sakura looked over at her
corner and tagged in an eager Dan. They traded positions and Dan
flexed his arm at Zeiram.

Zeirams only response was to hold out his arms. His
fingertips suddenly mutating into sharp claws. Dan raised his
eyebrows in surprise and got into a fighting stance. Zeiram was
faster then he had expected and Dan dodged at the last second.
However, the front of hi gi was ripped by the claws. "Damn," Dan
exclaimed, "this is my FATHERS gi!"

Dan, wanting to extract revenge, executed a Gale Kick but
Zeiram caught him in mid move with a punch. Dan fell to the ground
and yelped in pain as Zeiram kicked him when he was down. Zeiram
picked up and threw Dan into the corner. As Dan tried to pull
himself up, he was waffled from behind by Raditz.

Flashman had crawled out from under the ring several minutes
earlier and he frowned as he thought, "Odd. The computer should have
electrically shocked Raditz for that."

Zeiram made the tag to Raditz and the Saya-jin was all over
Dan once more. Dan had nowhere to go but down as Raditz kept
pummeling him with an impossible to keep up with number of punches.
Dan was flat on his back and Raditz once again placed his foot on his
chest and again, only a count of two was earned. Raditz let Dan get
up and then he taunted, "I have a move that I never got to use before.
The first time, I got distracted and the second time my tail was
grabbed.

"Now you're going to be the one to see it. It's called,
'Keep Your Eye On The Birdie'."

Raditz raised his right hand and an incredible amount of
energy formed into a white ball in his palm. He laughed and said,
"Now... keep your eye on the birdie!"

Dan rolled forward and cried, "GADOKEN!"

The small fireball smashed into Raditz's face and the Saya-
jin wanna be roared as he was temporarily blinded. Dan attempted to
crawl for his corner, but Kodachi had gotten a new ribbon and didn't
hesitate to throw it, so that it looped around Dans neck. She pulled
hard and Dan went flying back into the waiting arms of a recovered
Raditz.

"Now it SHOULD have zapped Kodachi," Flashman thought, "I
better go check."

Raditz, angered beyond reason that he had dropped the energy
ball, threw Dan high into the air and went flying up after him. He
hit Dan in the stomach with a strong kick and an axe handle to the
back of the neck as Dan doubled over, which sent the MVFC champion
down the long way to the mat. The impact made the ring shake
incredibly and almost everyone lost their balance. Raditz laughed
victoriously as he swooped down towards Dan. Dan looked up at the
rapidly descending Raditz and out of pure desperation, leaped to his
feet and jumped into the air.

        "KOOOOORYUUUUUUREEEEEEPAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

Dan's Super version of his Dragon Punch hit Raditz hard in
the stomach and the third class Saya-jin was completely caught off
guard. Both men fell to the ground, crawling for their respective
corners. Kodachi threw out her ribbon and Raditz tagged it. "Hey,"
Sakura companied, "That's cheating!"

"This fight is being done by YOUR rules, peasant girl,"
Kodachi sneered, "and in your rules, a weapon is considered an
extension of the body and the ribbon is but one of the weapons I
possess. Thusly, the tag was legal.
HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOH
OHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO... huh?"

"Thanks for the refresher course on our rules... big mouth,"
Dan rasped as he made the final heave and tagged Sakura back in.

The young fighter jumped into the fight and with a cry of,
"FEIIII LONG.... HAAAAAAAAAA," Sakura unleashed the Midare-Zakura on
the flat footed Kodachi.

Zeiram tried to intervene but was intercepted by the
Undertaker. Raditz also tried to stop Sakura but he was stopped by a
weary, but still battle ready, Dan. Complete chaos ruled the ring as
the six fighters dueled. Sakura was dominating Kodachi as Raditz did
the same to Dan. The Undertaker and Zeiram however, seemed evenly
matched as neither of them was able to hurt the other.

"GRRRR..." Flashman growled as he pounded away on the key
board of the Ref O Matic, "What's wrong with you?! You should be
using your battle drones to force everyone back to their corners!"

Zeiram and 'Taker's battle spilled out of the ring and the
two of them traded blows on the floor. Raditz threw Dan away, where
the Street Fighter collided with Kodachi and sent them hurtling out
of the ring. Raditz then turned to, the suddenly opponent less,
Sakura and said, "You're pretty good, little girl but I doubt you're
good enough to beat me."

"Heard that before," Sakura shot back as she prepared to
fight.

"Now you should be counting out Kodachi," Flashman roared.

The computer screen read, <I Can Feel My Mind Going....>

Outside the ring, Dan was being pummeled by Kodachi's "Attack
of a Hundred Batons."

The batons smashed into Dans stomach again and again,
staggering the MVFC champion and sending him to his knees. Dan stood
and was hit in the face by an iron ball that was painted like a beach
ball. Dan fell over onto his back and when he managed to drag
himself back up, Kodachi pulled out yet another ribbon and threw it
around Dan's neck. Dan gagged as the insane gymnast increased the
pressure. "HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO," Kodachi exclaimed, "As soon as
you are finished, I shall deal with that annoying sailor girl friend
of yours once and for all. HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO..."

Kodachi's laughter was cut off as... something... gold
colored, cut through her ribbon and released Dan from its grip. Dan
rolled forward and looked up and to his right. He noticed the figure
in the grid work of the arena and, after getting back to a vertical
position, gave him/her a Thumbs Up. The figure returned the gesture
and Dan turned back to Kodachi. "HA! HA! SEIA!," Dan cried as he
unleashed his Gale Kick, striking Kodachi three times.

"HEY," Flashman holared, "outside interference! That's an
instant DQ!!"

The screen read, <You Like'a More Cheese? I Like'a More
Cheese Too!>

The Undertaker and Zeiram continued to trade punches as they
moved up the aisle. Undertaker cupped his hands in front of him and
launched three black, smokey ghosts at Zeiram, stunning the alien
being. He grabbed Zeiram and then, leaping a good five feet into the
air, dropped the bio warrior into the Tombstone pile driver. Zeiram
immediately stood up from the attack and slashed at Undertaker with
his finger claws. The attack slashed across Undertakers stomach
releasing a small amount of blood. Undertaker responded by reaching
for Zeirams head and pulling on the doll face. Zeiram screeched in
agony as Undertaker squeezed. The warrior replied by kicking the
Undertaker in the crotch, showing even the dead can be hurt in the
"Male Weak Spot".

Sakura, meanwhile, had valiantly held her own against Raditz
but the Saya-jin was proving to be too much for her as he had
recovered from Dan's earlier attacks and Sakura, while fast, didn't
have enough strength behind her blows to hurt Raditz. Raditz, on the
other hand, was fast AND strong, managing to hit Sakura many times
over. The younger fighter slumped into the ropes and thought, "If
only I could get a few seconds to power up my Shinku Hadoken... he'd
be toast."

Raditz again powered up his ultimate attack but suddenly, an
Invid Shock Trooper swooped down behind him and intoned, "VIOLATION!
ILLEGAL USE OF KI!"

Sakura looked on incredulously as the Shock Trooper zapped
Raditz with a ki draining beam. The ball in his hands faded and he
growled, "What the hell just happened?!"

Flashman popped his head up from under the ring and said,
"Sorry. The system's still got a few bugs in it."

As Sakura and Raditz facefaulted, they cried similtaniously,
"NOW he tells us!"

Kodachi came flying back into the ring, courtesy of Dan, and
crashed into Raditz. The team mates went sprawling and Dan slided
under the bottom rope and back into the fight. Raditz roared in
anger as he flung Kodachi off of him and out into the seventh row.
Enraged beyond belief, Raditz charged the two Street Fighters, flying
low to the ground.

        "KORYUKEN!"
        "SHO-OKEN!"

The two uppercuts hit home and jacked a stunned Raditz into
the air. When he started to fall to earth, Dan and Sakura gathered
their ki.

        "Shall we?"

        "Age before beauty."

Dan brought his fist to his side and then shot it, and
himself, skyward as he shouted, "KOOOORYUUUREEEEPAAAAAAA!!!"

Dans blow knocked Raditz back into the air again and when he
started to fall once more, Sakura cupped her hands to her side and as
the blue energy reached its peak, yelled, "I learned this trick from
Marvel Super Heros VS Street Fighter! SHINKU... HADOKEN!"

The young girl shot her hands into the air diagonally and
over thirty giant Hadokens shot from her palms. This barrage was too
much for even Raditz and he fell to the ground, unconscious. Sakura
smirked as she said, "Now you know... Justice always prevails!"

Dan thought, "That sounds a bit familiar," then placed his
foot on Raditz's chest and as the three count sounded, the champion
said, "My father could beat you... and he's dead."

As soon as the match was over, Zeiram and the Undertaker
stopped fighting. They stared at each other for a long period of
time and then Zeiram simply nodded and walked away.

"Ummm," White Wolf asked, "Could someone tell me what just
happened there?"

Tybalt shrugged and replied, "Maybe it was just a show of
respect between creatures of the Darkside."

Flashman, covered in grease and oil, crawled out from under
the ring and grabbing the mike, said, "Here are your winners... Team
MVFC!"

Over the speakers, "Wild Cat" played again and the crowd
cheered as Raditz was teleported back to the after life. The
victorious members of the MVFC basked in the glory of their fans.
Sakura did her little dance. Dan arm flexed again, ripping his gi and
showing off his muscles in the process and as the tears streamed down
his face, he cried, "I DID IT... OYAJI!!!"

The Undertaker raised his gloved hand to the sky once, before
he walked back into the dressing room area. The crowd cheered for
the triumphant heros. Sakura looked up at Dan and said, "I'll admit,
I'm impressed. After that beating Raditz gave you, I'm surprised you
came back and helped me win it."

Sakura gave Dan a hard slap on the back and the champion
yelped in pain, then he grumbled, "Watch it! I'm pretty much maxed
out here... and what do you mean I helped YOU win it! I'M the one
who got the pin."

"Yeah, but it was MY Super that knocked him out!"

Dan sighed and said, "Hey! What about my Koryureppa?!"

"Your silly uppercut vs my fireballs ANY DAY! Besides, MY
music is playing!"

"Why you... if you weren't Arikas' friend," Dan said as he
took a mock swing at Sakura.

"I'm sorry too," Sakura said jokingly, "Now, let's party!"

From the booth, Tybalt whistled as the two Street Fighters
jumped out of the ring and into the crowd. He said, "Wow! What a
first match! If this is any indication of what the night is going to
be like, we're in for something special."

"Next up," White Wolf chimed in, "the Eternal Champions, RAX
and Trident, battle their mortal enemies, the Instictites..."

Tybalt looked at his partner strangely and exclaimed, "The
WHAT??"

"Insinctites, plural for the Killer Instincts crew."

        Tybalt facefaulted.

"As I was saying... the Instinctites, Jago and TJ Combo in a
Awesome Victory/Vendetta match. What this means is that, the only
way a team can win is if one member of the opposing team has a
Fatality performed on them. These moves give an Awesome Victory in
the Killer Instincts node and the moves themselves are called
Vendettas in the Eternal Champions node, thus the name of this match.
"

"It sounds awesome," Tybalt replied as he got up, "We'll be
back for it... after this brief intermission."

WINNERS: Dan/Sakura/Undertaker

Next: RAX/Trident VS Jago/Combo
