In celebration of the list coming back up. ^_^
It's....
THE EXAM FROM HELL, EVA STYLE! By Andrew Huang.
(Partially ripped of a well-traveled email forward.)
Warning, there are some spoilers. (I'll put those questions at
the very bottom.)
Engineering:
In the warehouse in front you are the unassembled components required
for constructing one (1) Evangelion artificial humanoid. In three hours,
the being code-named "Sachiel" will arrive. Good luck.
Government:
Explain the rise of the UN after the Second Impact. Construct a
feasible world government system, including all the countries in
existence, had the Second Impact not occured. Compare and contrast.
Business:
Given the starting base of 100 yen, plan NERV's budget for one year.
Chemistry:
Synthesize LCL, using your own saliva as the starting reagent.
Music:
Compose a version of "Fly Me to the Moon" that annoys no one. You will
find a full set of orchestral instruments, a concert piano, several
electrical instruments, and an alto under your seat. Use as you see fit.
Public speaking:
Talk Zeruel out of trashing Tokyo-3. You will be given a megaphone and
standard riot police-issue body armor.
Medicine:
You have a Progressive Knife, bandages once used by Ayanami Rei, and
a bottle of rubbing alcohol. Remove your own appendix. Do not suture
until your work has been inspected. You have 15 minutes.
Spoilers below....
Psychology:
You have an Ayanami Rei clone, freshly awakened, sitting beside you.
Psychoanalyze your particular clone. Extra credit: make her laugh
without tickling her.
Philosophy:
Discuss the ethical and existential implications of humanity evolving
into a single group mind. What would Sartre say? Socrates? Nietzsche? Be
prepared to defend your statements with quotations from those
philosophers (it is not necessary to translate).
Epistemology:
Did the TV series actually happen, or was it all completely in
Shinji's mind? Prove your stance beyond the shadow of a doubt.
