Studio Angel blade Presents:
THE ADVENTURE OF HOLMES AND P-CHAN
Prolouge: Zero below or Six feet under
London late 1900
A man is seen standing beside a grave, his face solemn, his contenance grim. He is Sherlock Holmes, detective, bearer of justice, unofficial police and genius. And he has come to this dreary place to mourn the loss of his trustworthy ally and friend, Doctor Watson.
"Ah Watson, finally you have what you wished for, to be at peace beside your wife Mary. I might soon join you my friend for I have not much time left myself. You see old chap, I have contracted a fatal disease, the fools who call themselves doctors here do not have
the foggiest idea how I am to be cured. By Jove! this manner is not becoming of me, I shouldn't be moping about! You my friend would have thrown a fit if you saw me this way" He wiped a stray tear from his face ,"I miss you old friend" he whispers as he lays down
two bouquets of roses, one for each grave, he looked at the grave beside Watson's "Do take care of him Mary, he is your husband after all." he looked at the gravestones one last time then he left. As he does so a pair of eyes follow him.
Arriving at his lodgings at 221b Baker street he is at once greeted by the caretaker, Mrs. Hudson. "I remember you have told me that you did not wish to be disturbed sir but this gentleman insisted upon seeing you." Holmes nodded curtly, "Very well Mrs. Hudson where
is this gentleman now?" The landlady replied, "Awaiting you in your study sir." he nodded once again, "Very good Mrs. Hudson, perhaps a case will bring me out of the slump I am in, but, if I may ask, what seems to have flustered you so, dear lady?" Mrs. Hudson shook
herself, "It's your guest sir, he doesn't look too friendly to me, asked for you with a scowl on his face sir, and when he smiled, dear god, I saw fangs Mr. Holmes, fangs!" Holmes nodded and patted the old woman's hand and proceeded upwards to meet his guest.

Upon arriving he saw a person who appeared to be Asian, although shorter than he was, the man was well built, and appeared to be travel weary. His eyes were chinky and his complexion was a bit yellowish "Have you been waiting long old chap?" he asked. The stranger
nodded and stood up. "not too long Holmes sensei, it's only been a few hours." He smiled and the detective nodded, he then smiled at the visitor "It has been a while Hibiki, you old devil, how are you?" he laughed as he shook the stranger's hand. "Very well Holmes sensei,
I've managed to lessen the curse a bit, if you must know it only took me one month to find this place." he proudly declared as he gestured at the room. Holmes, being familiar with the Hibiki curse of misdirection could do nothing but shake his head and chuckle quietly. "I
suppose your still clinging on to that agreement about your family line owing mine for saving your honor?" Holmes asked with a raised eyebrow. " Come, come , Tetsuo old boy, that is simply unheard of, why, this is the twentieth century." The man know as Tetsuo Hibiki shook
his head. "If not for you, my life would have been forfeit, A nihonjin's honor is more valued than his life and I almost lost both honor and life if not for you and Watson sensei, which reminds me, where is he anyway ? I have this wonderful cursed Mummy jewel from India I brought
him and I..." he stopped upon seeing Holmes' sombre expression. The latter looked up and said in a quiet voice. "He is dead Tetsuo, he is dead because he took a bullet meant for me. And there is nothing within my powers to stop his death, nothing." Holmes' head was bent in shame
not unlike a man who is about to face the headsman's ax. "But that is not all my dear Tetsuo, you see I too am dying and there is nothing medical science can muster to prevent it." Tetsuo can see the pain in the eyes of the old detectiveand yet he, one of the most powerful martial
artists of that era was powerless before this tragedy. The only way of cheering Holmes up, Is finding a cure for his illness. These thoughts came unbidden to his mind racing like a train, yet he had no means of accomplishing the feat for he was no doctor and he knew no doctor save for
Onno. The eerie silence that permeated that room was cut short by a voice. "Mr, Holmes, perhaps I can be more of an assistance. If you can help me, that is" They both turned to stare at a man whowas waiting outside the open door frame. Holmes lit his pipe and looked at the new arrival
eye to eye, "And you are?" "Ferguson, Professor Charles Ferguson, Mr. Holmes." the man replied as he removed his hat as a sign of respect to the detective. " If I do consider helping you, how can you prevent my pending death, when most of your colegues can not?" Holmes stared
at the stranger and fixed him with a bloodstopping glance. "Not cure Mr. Holmes, consider it as finding a cure, you see I am studying ways to freeze people, and then thaw them out in the near future, where hopefully, the cure for their ills has been found." explained the porfessor as
he cleaned his glasses. From what Holmes can observe, this newcomer is in his mid fifties, balding , suffering from athritis in his right hand and has a case of nearsightedness. He chuckeld softly, yet seemingly not soft enough that his guest would not hear. "I can not see what the
laughing matter is Mr. Holmes but I assure you that my research is of no laughing matter." The Professor harumphed quite loudly and them continued cleaning his spectacles. "Dreadfully sorry old chap, but I must say, spying on one who is visiting a friend's grave is no way to recieve
assistance." The old man gasped and almost broke his spectacles in shock, "H..h..how did.." Sherlock Holmes once again assumed the air of superiority that is common to him every time he explains himself. "First of all old chap, upon leaving the cemetary, I had a feeling of being tailed.
Then I noticed that you have reddish brown earth on your boots, a very healthy type of soil found in cemetaries and forests or parks, now if it were a park, some blades of grass would accompany the soil or otherwise just blades of grass, The cemetary meanwhile has few grasses and if
there ever was , they would be of the wild type, not well cut. I assume then that the lab is somewhere in the cemetary?" the professor nodded but still had the look of puzzlement, Holmes smiled inwardly upon seeing this, after all this time he still had the touch. " Capital! We, that is,
my companion and I shall join you shortly. Will that be all right with you?" the proffessor nodded making Holmes curl up his lips in a smile "Capital! Now if there is no further business to discuss , I bid yoou good day." he opened the door to let the bewildered proffesor out. As soon as the
professor was out of the flat, Holmes began to laugh, puzzled Tetsuo asked him "Uh... Holmes-sensei, is there something funny?" Holmes looked at him with mirthful eyes and replied "Life is funny Tetsuo. Would you like to join me in one last meal before I go to 'sleep'? " The Hibiki boy
nodded "Excellent, I have this 1929 I've been dieing to open and I believe this is the proper occasion for it. These events might make me take you up on that 'owing me your life' nonsense you've been yammering about. Would you like that? " seeing Tetsuo nodd he resumed talking "Capital!
I may require some personal paraphernalia kept for me so that if I ever awake I will not be left unidentified, will you do that for me?" seeing Tetsuo smile and nodd once again he smiled as well "Jolly good we'll start after we have our dinner. Ah! here comes Mrs, Hudson with the meal now, come
Hibiki-san, let us dine." he said as he lead his friend towards the dining room, several times doubling back just to lead him in the right direction.
