[And the morale of the C&C and MSTing is...Always pre-read everything
thourghly before posting it. I though I did enough, but obviousley I
didn't...

I mean I made some real big plunders here. Errors so big they make the
USSR look small. That is if the USSR still existed, which it doesn't...But
it does make the countires formaly known as the USSR look small. Trust me
on this...:]

Scott: (OS) Sorry, it'll just take a second to notify the
replacement. I didn't expect to see a KOR fic. Why don't you run the
title sequence while we're waiting?

Let's just say the idea hit me when I was falling asleep. Since I couldn't
fall asleep (since I was hit..:) I wrote this up. ^^

THE PEOPLE NOT APPEARING IN THIS FANFIC PRESENT
AN MST OF RICHARD BEAUBIEN'S "THE HIGH NOTE"

Richard: So Scott wants to pop up in his own fanfic, eh?

Washuu: Happy to oblige. And we'll see how much he likes these romantic
comdies when he's stuck in one.

Richard: Hey, I wouldn't mind being in one as long as it has Aya-san in
it.Arimi-san...

Scott: (to camera) Our old partner, Akane Tendou. (to Akane) Glad
you could join us on such short notice.

Richard: Are we suprised it's a Ranma character?

Minna-san: NO!!!!!

Richard: Mou, and here I was planning a KOR/Ranma fusion spam fic....

[Yuu obligingly picks up the remote and presses 'play.' Scott and
Akane join him on the couch.]

Richard: I wonder how he get's the DVD versions of my stuff Before I do?

{Ignoring first pun....Though it did get 6 on the Pun scale...The Russian
Judge gave it a 2 though.}

Yuu: She wasn't actually climbing, but she sure *seemed* climbing.

Richard: I wonder if I could blame all of the mistakes on my evil twin....

Washuu: Why not use Mihoshi? I use her all of the time.

(BTW this was fixed...)

The tree itself was nothing special, a plain old Oak tree of moderate
height and only having a few branches and leaves.

Akane: That might make it difficult to climb.

Hey, I climber average trees all of the time. Of course I did have a
slight fear of falling so..

All: (chorus) Why did she climb it?

Richard: So she could take a 'leaf' of absence?

[Dodges all mallets, Chi Attacks, and laser bolts sent his way]

{Snip Pun #2...And the Russian judge gives this on a 1 too...}

Yuu: Jokes aside, he might want to make it more clear that the "it"
refers to the yard. And a gate can't really surround anything... a
wall, maybe. "A yard that, because of the wall that surrounded it,
was only visible from the tree," perhaps?

Done, though I replaced wall with fence since that seems to fit better (at
least in a backyard point of view..)

Akane: The author ought to look at that sentence in full view.

I've changed this a bit, as seen in the repost. Though I should of caught
it earlier.

Yuu: (holds out a box) Have some commas. There's no shortage, or
anything.

Richard: I'm waiting for the clearance sale. After all I'm on a student
loan.

Akane: (Madoka) Help! I'm being suffocated by a jumbo shrimp!

Scott: (shakes head) What an oxymoron...

Akane: HEY!

{Gee, the Russian judge is still underscoring the jokes. This one only
get's a .5.... The East German judge gives it a 1, but since the country
doesn't exits anymore he ends up getting laughed off the stage.}

Yuu: Hmm. I wonder if that sounds anything like a saxophone.

Washuu: It sounds like whatever it wants.

Richard: Really, what does it sound like to you?

Washuu: It sounds like your GPA falling through the ground...

Akane: ...Right up to the minute she overbalanced and fell out of the
tree. She landed on her head and broke her neck, dying instantly.
The end.

[Yuu and Scott look at each other and bigsweat.]

Richard: Coming soon in the KOR Dark fic!! Watch as Espers fight in bloody
clashes. See Hikaru use an AK-47 in the shopping mall. Have fun as KOR
characters swear alot!!!!

Washuu: You really do have a death wish don't you!!

Scott: It's people! Saxaphone green is made of PEOPLE!

Richard: (Homer) Hmm...Soylent Green..

Scott: It derailed, killing everyone else aboard.

Yuu: I suppose she should have engineer-ed a better outcome, ne?

Akane: (closes her eyes) You guys... (mutters) I don't believe this.

{Well even the US Judge gave this one a .5, though the Russian judges is
still being a bastard on the marks. In fact right now he's in the middle
of placing up his score which consists of a partial dervtive and one
matrix multiplication.!!!!}

Yuu: And now for an instant replay of that composition!

Akane: Wouldn't that be an 'encore'?

Washuu: And your a college student?

Richard: Yeah, a 3rd year one...

Washuu: MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I can't believe you can make a small mistake
like that!!!

Richard: Hey, I'm a science student. Besides I've looked at your writing
and it isn't much better.

[And kid's, the morale again is to always proof read your stories. If you
haven't looked it over for at least 24 hours then it may still have some
errors in it...

I mean you may have forgotten to captalize the lone I in your story. And
that could just ruin the entire fic..]

Scott: He just meant "you're."

Yuu: I know, but it struck me as a funny image.

Richard: Let's not get on that train....

(BTW this has been chanegd...:P)

{*snip*}

Scott: I can't remember for sure, but I thought she played the violin
at some point in the manga.

Akane: She plays a lot of instruments. Saxophone, piano, guitar,
clarinet...

Yuu: Maybe she changed her mind about the violin later.

Hai...It's just that as a Kid I though the Saxophone was cooler than a
violin so I though Ayukawa might think that way...:P

Scott: (fast-forwarding) I'm skipping most of the rest, although it's
well-written, because there's a thing or two at the end that pretty
much torpedoes the entire fic, and I'm too impatient to wait to get to
it.

Washuu: You do know Patience is a virtue//

Akane: That, and you couldn't come up with many horrible puns for
that section.

Scott: ...well, yeah, that too.

{And for some weird reason the Russian judge gives that a score of
7.5....}

Yuu: Technically, she was interested in music before the saxophone,
because she heard it before she saw it.

Scott: "Music in general," then.

Actually I changed it to 'Making music'... She may have liked to listen to
it, but she didn't want to make it.

Akane: Ah. So it -is- set after Shin KOR.

But what point, is it after the love scene or is after the Future Kasuga
comes back...:)

Washuu: Nit picker!!!

Akane: All through the fic, she's referred to as "Madoka" until this
section, where she becomes "Ayukawa" again. That feels disjointed.

Yuu: (nods) And if you're referring to Madoka by her first name in
the narration, you should probably refer to Kyousuke by his.

Artistic thingy...:) I thought it would work better if I had the narritive
in the present use Kasuga and Ayukawa, more as a reference to the way they
talked to each other in the past. I think it works, but then I could be
wrong...

(And I am a science major too so...:)

Scott: This is where I had the problem. One of the most important
things about the series is that Madoka -knew-. She might not have
recognized Kyousuke straight away, but she remembered pretty early on.
He even told her when she was sent back in time, and she pretty much
told him then that she knew. So this part is a little inconsistent...

Well, I thought about this for awhile. Hell I even game up with some witty
replies to this, but as I thought about it more and more I began to see
that you where mostly right about this. Ayukawa probably remebered at
least seeing someone similiar to Kasuga. Or at least she remembered that
she could trust him....

But I doubt she knew that it was Kasuga who had visted her in the past. At
least not until she finally found about his powers. Of course I set this
during the Shin KOR timeline so....:)

Anyway the ending took a bit of an over hall which takes this into
account, and also works a bit better than the old one. It should be in the
repost which should follow this.

Scott: I think I covered everything. Oh, write more KOR. More KOR
fics would be good.

Well it depends...Do you want to see some of my warped KOR ideas? ^^
(Hikaru's darling always did lead me to think of Lum's UY ideas...:)

Beyond that I do have some solid KOR stuff brewing in the back of my head.
I wouldn't mind doing a story that deals with Hikaru after the end of
Shin-KOR. Or maybe another short story idea will hit me...

But then I have other stuff to do, and I have that Miracle Girls fic to
write. And I'm trying like hell to avoid doing a Shin Hime-chan's no
Ribbion series....:P

Scott: Or Marmalade Boy, Maison Ikkoku, or Devil Hunter Yohko fics,
for that matter. And crossovers, too, as long as they play a major
role.

Won't touch Marmalade Boy yet except for cameos though, since I've only
seen twenty epsiodes of it. I might write more MI, but I haven't seen/read
all of that either and I don't want to make a huge contunity error there
either..:P

Yuu: I think that's it, then. (waves to camera) Thanks.

[Yuu presses a button on the remote. All goes dark.]

Hmm....That's 2 MST's for nothing..I guess I owe you a MST of the next
Orange Marmalade chapter then...:)

Anyway, the redo is coming soon. Tell me what you think of the new ending
and the other changes done to it...

Ja ne!!
