"P-suke" is could be given in the author's notes section.) I thought Ranma
would just call Ryouga P-chan.
Well, stomp on frogs and shove a crowbar up my nose. ;) I meant to put
mention of that in the notes at the end. That's a nickname which Ranma
was given to calling Ryouga back in the early days of the series...
"-suke" is a masculine suffix for a given name (Yuusuke, Ryuunosuke,
etc.). The P obviously somes from P-chan. It's just another thing there
to annoy Ryouga.
A little off-topic rant I'm going to make here. Ranma's curse being cured
makes things a bit less interesting between him and his fiancees. No more
girl-girl kisses or lemon scenes. :P (damn I have a hentai mind :)
I've only ever done one lemon, and it was purely heterosexual. If I ever
decide to do more, it will not include any homosexual scenes of any kind.
I'm not homophobic, but gay sex (for either gender) does nothing for me,
and I could never find the words with which to write about it, much less
make it anything remotely close to interesting.

Trying to avoid overusing proper names too much.
Its amazing how Ranma can get beat up a lot without taking any apparent
damage, and then crash through a simple window and get injured
significantly. Ah well, another one of those evasive laws of anime. :)
But of course! But you'll notice, I haven't had Ranma sustaining any
major attacks (yet) anyhow. ^_-
'Doppleganger' is the correct spelling I believe.
In the original German, I'm pretty certain it's "doppelganger."

As for your characterization, you have payed very good attention to minute
details and I believe you have done a good job of portraying the
characters accurately.
I've received comments that I portray Ryouga as being "too intelligent."
I disagree. Ryouga is idealistic and impetuous, but he's not an idiot.
Viz seems to have given him something of a drawl in the dubs, which has
given a lot of people the impression that he's less intelligent than
Ranma is. To thee, I say "bullshit."
I've watched ALL of the Ranma TV episodes and both movies in the original
Japanese, as well as read a lot of the manga (in Japanese), and I've
managed to get a very solid picture of how the characters act. Better
than a LOT of people I've met, if I do say so myself.
Ryouga is, quite simply, more intelligent than people give him credit for.
And he's not the mindless attacker he's made out to be by some writers
either. He would recognize when he's out of his depth.
Ryouga and Ranma have had peaceful (even quite friendly) discussions from
time to time, particularly as the series wore on. Much how fanfic authors
almsot invariably portray Akane's cooking as nothing but horrible, Ranma's
never anything but a jerk, Akane's ALWAYS calling Ranma "baka" and hitting
him, etc., Ryouga's ALWAYS portrayed as attacking Ranma constantly with
little or no reason. This is patently inaccurate, I don't care what Viz
or anyone aside from Ms. Takahashi herself claims.
I'm firmly of the opinion that if it weren't for the very odd circumstances
surrounding their lives, they would be best friends. I do not intend to
change my portrayal of Ryouga. In my rather vast experience, I feel I'm
doing an excellent job.
Sorry for the rant, but this bugs me severely.
I love how Ukyou is putting everything on hold and helping Ranma in his
time of need. I hope as the story progresses, Ukyou and Ranma will start
becoming closer and closer to each other. Akane could use some comforting
>from Ryouga and/or P-chan too.

You won't keep us waiting long on finding out why Ranma's "dark side" is
suddenly emerging, right? :)

BTW, I think you spelled Ryouga's attack wrong. "Shishi Houdoukan", not
Houkoudan.
