Ignore them! Just because they don't like an idea doesn't mean others
won't. Some people hate ALL authorfics, others like them. If someone
else has done an idea similar to yours in one way that doesn't mean
the rest of the story will be similar. Otherwise their would on;y be
one Crossover between Ranma and Sailor Moon;  as an example; insted of
dozens each different, each unique, from Lines of Destiny or Sailor
Moon R 1/2 to Nibun No Senshi to name a few. If you have an idea the n
write it (if you can, sometimes you can't, for real world reasons) and
send it in and see what responses you get on your writing. Don't quit
on an idea because somebody else screwed it up and assumes you will
too. Who knows you just might write a story so good as to get reuests
to continue it as a series.
