The best way to think up an idea that nobody in their right minds would

touch is to ask the wrong questions.



For example, in the Ranmaverse....



Ten years before the start of the series Genma was either taking Ranma

around to meet Ukyou or he was the student of Happi.



The simple, easy answer is that Genma trapped Happi in the cave after

Ranma (and Akane) where born and then came home and took Ranma on the

training mission.  (He was inspired in the art or some nonsense).  So the

story Genma and Soun related when Happi reappeared was simply off by a few

years.



I'm working on getting the wrong answers to this question and am slowly

working on two of them.  (There's some points I want to sync up, like when

P. Tarou comes around asking almost the same question of the two "Ranma"s

and how their reactions differ.)



If you combine series even the sky is no limit.  (UY's Ryoko sees Ranma's

Romeo and Juliet performance?)



If you crossover outside of anime things get very strange indeed.  (Yes

Prime Minister combined with Tenchi, Black Moon Adder or the Ranma and UY

casts running the Red Dwarf.)



Naturally I've got a bunch of really monstrous ideas bouncing around. (The

Silver for the silver millennium was mined from the crust of Triton and so

a thousand years after it was overthrown, the natives still carry a

grudge...  It'll be a fair fight.  (Of course this will be the same fair

that the KOR, Ranma, UY, Tenchi, SM, etc, characters went to.  (The two

young psychics will scream "Oniichan!" after onna-Ranma swallows the

goldfish that she swiped in spite of Minako's weakening the spoon. (You'd

never know that Minako had a tank of piranha hidden behind the counter by

looking at her, now would you?))))
