I say, if you come up with an idea you like, write it.  It doesn't  matter
if it has been "done to death."  I alway  like to see a new look at an old
idea.  It is very rare that two writers will independantly write identicle
fics, even starting from a common concept.

If peopl flame you for it, ignore them.  It is as simple as skimming there
messages, and hitting the red X that most mail editors provide at the top of
the viewing window.

It has been my experience that when some one sees another person starting a
piece simmaler to one they have done, many of the better authors, or at
least those that understand why we write, will give tips and advice to help
with the writing. and as I said before, if somone sends flames, just ignore
them.


I wish you luck on your fic, and hope that you ignore any flames that you
have recieved.
