Subject: [FFML] [spam][question] Procedures for C&C

As a newbie to the FFML, that raises a question in my mind. What is
the
accepted procedure for C&C? Is it assumed that C&C should be sent
privately, or should it be posted to the mailing list for all to see?
Most
of the responses for my own story have been sent to my email, rather
than
posted, and I've mainly done the same, but speaking for myself, I
wouldn't
mind at all if it was all open posting. I think that if everyone was
able
to see the comments made by other people, there would be less
duplication
of critique, which has happened a lot.
In that same direction, how about MST's? Are they supposed to be
generally posted, or sent to the author first?
Trying to stick to the Netiquette,

I think the authors should add a little note at the end saying what
kind of
C&C they would like.

Example:

Author's notes:
Boy, I hope you liked my fic, all C&C are welcome, public or private.

or

Author's babble:
Man, I worked soo hard for this fic, I only want MSTing please, and
send
it PRIVATELY! I don't want people to see how bad my fic was ^_^;

End Example:

of course, if you say you want any kinds of C&C... well, that means
ANY kinds.
What do others think of this?
