I think you guys are sloughing off this challenge to quickly. After all, 
in order for the 'fic' to seem to work properly, you have to work on 
multiple levels. I.E.

1)  How would Bandai set up their storyline knowing their penchant for 
action figures and battles?

2)  How would DIC then modify BANDAI's story further to allow for 
America's younger audiences. Don't forget the cute moral either.

3)  And finally, how would a 18-20 year old view this material...
    (You might be better off though using a younger student.)

	You're missing the point.

1) Bandai did adapt Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, the manga, as a television
series.

2) DIC adapted it for the American release.

3) A twenty-year old author, for his first piece of fanfic, wrote a very
short story based on DIC's Sailor Moon, with the title and final line "None
of Your Business".  That author was me.

	This isn't a challenge.  It's an *insult*.
