What ideas do you have for playing this out?

 
    The biggest problem I'm having is trying to figure out who to put Asuka
with and how. One idea is that after a fight with Skuld, Asuka ask Ranma for
help with her hand to hand skills. Another idea is for Asuka to get togethere
with Shampoo and her Grandmother. This idea however involves Asuka discovering
that she might be able to do a ki move (I'm not to sure about that). If I do
the Shampoo idea I would also put Skuld with Ukyo and as a side story have
both Skuld and Asuka try to help there respected friends get Ranma.


 

A few nits:

This doesn't sound "severe", and as you said, this is Furinkan; would

 she really get more than a wrist slap for "protecting her virtue"?

    I like to think that beating up Kuno is one thing, trying to turn him into
Kuno cutlets is anothere.
 

Aren't Gendou and Yui grad students by now?

    From what read on the internet Yui joined Fuyuzuki at Toyko U in 1999.
This is what I based her and Gendo's School level.
 

 

This doesn't ring true; you test such things at a proving ground where

 you're willing to use explosives, etc.  There's no reason to drag
 a pod all the way to the South Pole for testing.
 
   It just isn't testing wither a survival pod can take an impact. They also
test such a thing for protection from the elements (hot, cold, pressure,
etc.). Also companies would like to see how it would work in real world
conditions.
Something else, even though they aready have such technology it dosn't mean
they wouldn't try to make better ones

 As far as I can tell there's two worthwhile things in this fic to
 focus on: first get Asuka out of her shell enough to make friends
 with some of the powerful of Nerima, and then the mission.
