This reminds me of the one Ranma/Robotech crossover one guy was going.  I
always had this image of Ryoga doing a Full Shishi Hodokan inside a
Veritech and killing himself.

at the risk of starting a spamthread, I don't think so..  if Ranma or
Ryouga used a 'special move' (sorry, ex- video game fanatic) inside a
veritech, especially a rigged veritech, the focus point for the gathering
of the visible ki, as well as the focus for the damage (blast radius, beam
start point, dragon start point, etc) would be based off the mechahumanoid
body of the veritech, not off that of the meat body of the pilot.
