Now, with the new year...they did make an announcement. Sweet Tales of
St. Tails is going to be shown as a compromise. Is this suppose to be a
good thing? I haven't seen a fanfic about it, anyway...gee...anime in the
Philippines is really down on the dumps...Sailor Moon got cancelled too,
but I was happy for that one...good thing the other TV station is showing
some great new, but unknown, animes.

This anime, also known as "Mysterious Thief St. Tail" (Japanese
name "kaitou saint tail") is a cute little show without the complex
plot of Ranma. (Did you spot the smiley there?)

The protagonist is the fourteen-year-old daughter (of course!) of
a stage magician and a female cat burgular. It's a Magical Girls
show, of a sort, and is almost unbearably cute.

(It also, unlike almost any other anime I've ever seen, heavily
pushes Roman Christianity. Oh well, all shows have their flaws.)

A subbed version of the first four episodes is out. It's done by
Project Genki. I've screened the first three eps at MAS and
although reaction was mixed, no-one actually disliked the show.
(The negative reaction was from people who dislike *all*
magical girl shows, and that was mainly at the transformation
sequence.) Many people loved it.

In short, a fun show to watch but not real heavy on plot. Eye
candy. I liked it.
