*smiles* Happy New Years, btw. ^_- Be it a little late or no.

Anyways, since seeing Drakkus's departing message and not understanding why
he was leaving, it prompted me to go through my er.. depot of ffml posts.
{15+megs for the past month or so.. ;_;} So for that, I can thank Drakkus
as it got me reading the self-insertion threads which then prompted me to
re-evaulate my current self-insert fic. {No! No one has seen it yet!
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!! :pp} 

Needless to say, I will be revising my fic so I don't give everyone that.
"Doh! Another insertion fic with the same telltale problems!" ^_^; 

Anyways, my question: Has anyone done a self-insertion fanfic where a
character from an anime series is swapped with a person from real life? But
instead of focusing on the life of the RL person in Anime land, we follow
the life of the Anime chracter in RL. I was wondering if anyone has done
this before. ^_^;

Actually, the idea I had in mind concerning that was Kuno getting bumped
into RL and how he deals with it... or more accurately, how the real world
deals with a loudmouth like Kuno. ^_^;; Anyways, an idea to throw around. :)

Taskmasters, you guys and gals still exist? *glances around and listens for
the distinct sound of cattle prods discharging* Hmm... *sniffles* guess
they're gone... oh well. :) Not like I had a deadline for my
fic-in-progress anyways.

But for those who even remember about an old old fic which was never
completed, "The breaking of the string", the one I'm working on will be a
continuation.. or rather, a re-writing of it with a self-insertion aspect
added to it. ^_^; But if no one remembers.. *sniffles* That's okay.. *sniff
sniff* I'm strong.. ;_; {j/k}

Anyways, continuing with my ranting, sorry to see Drakkus go and leave the
list. Though personally, I thought some of his comments were a bit sharp,
he did on occasion have some thoughts which got people thinking. But his
challenge to Mr. Farber was rather... rude and without merit. His challenge
wasn't directed at me, but even as a third person, his challenge stung.
Perhaps it was the sensation of a slap in the face in regards to what I
personally believe this list to symbolize. 

It's a good environment here for encouraging the efforts of many writers
who write for various reasons. A good deal of whom, I suspect write for
both self-enjoyment as well as the enjoyment of others. Challenges are
good, if/when done openly to a wide group of people where there is general
interest. What Drakkus suggested was more of an ultimatum. But these are
merely my opinions, so please spare my life! ^_^

But farewell, Drakkus. {If he's able to read this, that is.} And good luck
to all the writers. ^_^ {Keep up the good work! Despite my usual silence, I
do read through a good deal of fics. :)}

Anyways, Sorry for my extended ranting. But thanks for reading through it
all. {You did read all of this, right? :)}

Umm.. I hope Tybalt doesn't consider my rare posts to be too spammy. ^_^;

ps. Just out of curiosity... how come Tybalt doesn't have a cattle prod?
The TaskMasters had cattle prods....... Oh well. ^_^; Laters all. Wish me

about self-insertion fics a couple of weeks or so ago. Those comments
really helped me see what I needed to fix. :)}
