The fanfic.com server, a faithful 486/66, is on the path to retirement.
It will be replaced with a slightly faster one in two weeks or so.

Also, the new machine will be hosting www.fanfic.com.  It should have

is cheap.

What pains me is that the new machine is going to cost less than the
