Hmm, i may have to change the bit about the Bakusai-Tenketsu a little, ok,
it doesn't work on living objects, what if there was a barrier between
Ryoga's fist and the target? Say gloves?
The Bakusai-Tenketsu only works on rocks/concrete. If Ranma was wearing a
suit of concrete armor it would work. :)
With Ran-ko, heh, i first saw her name written as 'Ran-ko' on the Viz dubbed
OAV 'Like Water For Ranma'. If i write an english-based fic (little to no
use of japanese in speech), i'll call her Ran-ko. If i write a japanese
based one, i'll call her Ranko or Ranko-chan, so sue me ;)
I still say the - in Ran-ko is tedious. :)
Ok, now i'm scared! I was expecting everyone to kill me when i said lemon
scene ;) Granted, lemon scenes without any 'external aid' like passion spice
etc can be hard to concieve. I'm just (for now) going to write the scene as
Ranma basically just gets attracted to Shampoo coz 1) she IS cute and 2)
remember his mindframe about Akane at the moment. Suggestions are welcome
here, i dont want to use any 'external aid'.
Nah, many of us (like me) appreciate a well-written lemon. :) There is one
thing that you have to take into account though, and that's your earlier
characterization of Ranma had him annoyed at her for crashing him into him
with her bike, and sometimes it looks like Ranma is a bit scared of
Shampoo (though he won't admit it); look at the opening animation of Ranma
1/2 where the song has the line "I'm a lonely girl, so lonely girl" in it.
At the end Shampoo has her arms around Ranma and is trying to kiss him;
Ranma looks like he's going to freak out any second.
Your (1) and (2) are very valid points though. It may not be enough
though, considering the previous point. But if Ranma starts thinking of
Shampoo as a possible future wife, it may work especially if Shampoo is
patient with him and doesn't scare him like she sometimes does. (A lot of
careful manuevering required on the part of the author.)
A _bit_ of "external aid" probably won't hurt, e.g. aphrodesiac getting
pumped into the room loosening both their inhibitions, but something
powerful like Passion Spice would be too much.
And with the part about Ranma getting split into Ranma and Ran-ko, Ran-ko is
going to wind up as Ranma's sister. Unlike the Nullifier which gives them
the same mind in diff bodies, this time Ranma gets cured completely while
Ran-ko is basically the spirit of the drowned girl that has infused the new
body.
I am assuming here that anyone who gets cursed, their spirit/soul will be
'bound' or 'assimilated' with the spirit that was in the pools that they
fell in. The way the story works here is that each spirit in the pools has a
portion of the entrapped demon's power. Anyone who gets cursed unwittingly
has recieved that power as well though they have absolutely no idea how to
use it. This being the case, Ran-ko is actually more powerful than Ranma,
though she doesn't know it yet. The nature of the split gives her all of
Ranma's skills though not his mind. She doesn't know how to use her skills
though they 'kick in' reflexively if needed.
I suppose you'll have to design Ranko's character; who was the young girl
who tragically drowned in the spring 1,500 years ago, and how did she
drown?
Since her spirit has been living in Ranma's body all this time, would she
know what Ranma knows?
Keep up the good writing. :)
