I dunno...but I wrote this for the hell of it. It's a Ranma's girls spin off. If
you haven't read my Ranma's girls fanfic, then this will seem a bit confusing.
It is very depressing. I found myself teary eyes as I wrote this...

I had another horrible dream last night. I had a dream where my father had
died of a heart attack. I was so helpless, unable to do anything. I watched,
tears flowing, as my father closed his eyes one last time. And when he did, I
knew that he would never open them again. That was when I woke, soaked in sweat,
my throat dry. This has happened to me every night for the past two weeks. What
did it mean?

Once again, my father is immediately by my side. I had screamed in my dreams
and he seemed to have heard. My twin sister, Jessie, was still asleep.
Daddy sat right next to me, his voice coforting me.
"It’s okay, honey," my father would tell me, "I’m right here"
I don’t know what to say. I’m only eight, and I have no idea how to interpret
those dreams. All I can do is cry.
"I-I was s-so scared," my voice was shaky "I had the same dream. You had a
heart attack and you closed your eyes and they never opened again"
My father, Ranma, said nothing for a moment. But then he spoke, "Don’t worry,
I’m not going to have a heart attack. I promise"
But he lied. My father soon died shortly afterwards of a heart attack.

It’s no fair. My father was only twenty eight. He was young. He had his life
ahead of him. Why did he have to die? Why? Didn’t he love us? Why did he leave
us?
It wasn’t until years after Daddy’s death did I realize what had happened, why
he died at such an early stage.

Grandma Nodoka, who had taken us in. I had called her on the morning when
Daddy wouldn’t wake up. It was strange. Daddy always woke up before my sister
and I did. That was why it came as a shock when I nudged him and he never
stirred.
  "Daddy?" I said, "wake up"
At first, I believed it was the first time for everything. It would be the
first time we would wake up before Daddy. But….as it turned out, Daddy would
never wake up.
When my sister Jessie continued to shake Daddy and he wouldn’t move, I started
crying. Soon, she started crying. We continued to cry, not knowing what to do.
Then, it struck me, I would call Grandma.
I immediately went downstair to the kitchen and called Grandma Nodoka,
thankful that I remembered Grandma’s phone number by heart.
"What is it, dear?" I can remember Grandma’s tired voice.
"Daddy won’t wake up" I told her "I keep shaking him, but he wouldn’t wake up"
"Oh no" was all I can remember before I heard the receiver on the other side
fall to the floor.

The front door opened shortly afterwards and in walked Grandma. I will never
forget the look on her face. My sister and I had been standing in the hallway,
staring up at her. Grandma had tears falling down her face. She was crying.
We followed her upstairs to Daddy’s room. The two of us huddled together as we
watched Grandma try to wake Daddy.
She shook him several times. But he didn’t move. She took hold of his hand and
placed two fingers on his wrist. I would later learn that she was looking for a
pulse. Then, she leaned forward and placed her hand in front of Daddy’s mouth.
After having done that, Grandma broke down and started crying.
  "No!!!"
