Nihao!

	My last two fics were rather serious (More or less). I can only take 
being that serious for so long before I start to lose my insanity. Here 
then is something to relive the seriousness. It�s a prelude if you 
didn�t figure it out. The rest of the parts should follow along sometime 
soon as I still have two weeks or so before
class starts again. C&C is wanted, and this thing begs to be MST�d.

	Paris is the city of light, and New York is the city of a thousand 
delights. What then is Nerima City? A dark blotch that rest on the East 
coast, Nerima has often been written up as how NOT to design a city, and 
how to design a city that will be more depressing than Portland. From 
the dark spires of its towers to the closed in feelings of it�s shops 
and buildings, Nerima has always been the
breeding ground for crime. It has the largest crime rates in the nation. 
Once a comedian joked that in Nerima every other person you meet is a 
mugger. He was mugged ten times after his act.

	This was a sad state of affairs that lasted until he showed up. No one 
knows what he looks like. The thugs think that he is supernatural, a 
dark black shape like a bat. They say he can�t be killed, they say he 
drinks blood, they say that bullets don�t stop him. They also said that 
there�s a great two for one sale at Ucchans okonomiyaki.

	He is the Batman, the dark figure that has caused most of the city its 
headaches and property damage. A man dressed as a bat who appears with 
the night to rid Nerima of its criminals, and food vendors of some spare 
food. Hey, crime fighting is hungry work. Nerima City is the only city 
where its McDonalds have a swing-thru. Although Metropolis has a 
fly-thru.

	The Batman crouched on a roof over looking an alley where a drug deal 
was going down. Not that the dealers knew about it yet, they just 
thought that they were here to do some trading. Green stuff for white 
stuff.

	Batman scanned the people and everything in the alley, his keen eye 
sight missed nothing, his hearing catching the sounds of the night. He 
tensed when he heard a cat meow, but figured that it was nowhere near 
him. Next to him lay the remains of a number three bat-sized meal to go, 
Ukyo still gave him free meals.

	His radio went off, it could only be one person.

	�Batman here,� he said shortly.

	�Uh, Robin here Batman, I�m still not sure where you are.�

	The Batman sighed, his partner was terrific in a fight, but that was if 
he could find the fight.

	�On top of the roof in front of Lexcorps Nerima office,� Batman said 
slowly.

	�Is that anywhere near a big tower?� Robin, The Eternal Lost Boy Wonder 
asked.

	�Big tower?� The Batman wondered.

	�The one that says GENOM on it,� Robin said helpfully.

	Batman closed his eyes, �How did he manage to make it to MegaTokyo in 
one night?� he thought.

	�Just stay there Robin. These crooks are about to make their move, 
Batman out.� Whit that he cut the transmission and tensed. Below him the 
deal was about to be concluded. Now was the time to strike! Above him 
the heavens agreed, thunder rumbled and a drenching rain poured into the 
city.

	Bat uh man, stood up and sighed. Her costume was now two sizes too big.

	�Damn, it always rains at times like this,� she said. Then she went to 
the batmobile to get a cape that at least fit her.
