Why would Ukyou be in Nerima?  She is not an Amazon and would not be under
any obligation to marry a strong male.  

Homosexuality in Ranma is one of the concepts that really intrigues me, but
you couldn't work it out if the entire cast was gay. One of the elements
that makes stories about the homosexual experience so interesting is the
isolation many of us endure. (I'm bi.) I'm introducing the homosexual
element into Ranma with my self-insertion. Kaosu is bisexual as well, mated
but estranged, and is either going to develop a crush on Mousse or a
meaningful relationship with Kuno. I haven't decided if they're going to
respond or not. I believe that everyone has the capacity to practice and
enjoy homosexual activity, and I think I might use Mousse or Kuno to express
that theory. 

I'm inclined to see Ranma as straight. It's a shame, I know, but nobody's
perfect, not even he. :)
