Tenchi Masaki looked up as Ryoko simply walked through the unopened
door of the hotel room, dragging the undisguised operative behind her. She
had pulled him from the beach without giving him time to re-mask himself
(or change his mind). Tenchi gaped at the alien operative for a moment.
The Operative wasn't as flummoxed as Tenchi, fortunately, and got
straight to the point.
"Our best bet would be to disable the receiving antenna at Tokyo
Tower." he told them. "If we do, there's a good chance that Kain will not
be able to materialize into this time period."
"Miss Washu?" Tenchi asked.
"That would save Achika temporarily, but eventually Kain would find
another transmitter, and we can't blow up every radio tower in the world."
"Good point." Trakal replied. "Okay. Plan B. You all stay here
and I'll go and blast him!"
"Plan Nine was better than *that*!" Washu exclaimed.
"I liked that movie!" Mihoshi protested.
"You would!" Washu replied. "Now, listen up, Trake!"
"That's Trakal."
Washu ignored him. "You're very brave, but very foolish. If you try
to take
Kain on by yourself, there's a 100 percent chance you're going to die. Got
that? Now,
I don't plan on leaving a body as alien as yours lying about, and I don't
want to
have to clean up another paradox because of some Galaxy Police hot-shot, so
you'll do
exactly as I say. Got that?"
Trakal sighed. "Do I have a choice?" he asked.
Washu grinned. "Nope." She replied.
